I tend to buy multiplayer games when they come out and more focused single player games at a later date when they have come down in price. I don't mind paying full price for gears of War 3 / Call of Duty etc but full price for a single player game that I know i'll probably play through twice can wait until it comes down in price. Microsoft have a history for making the same mistakes over and over - Internet Explorer - version 8 and it still has some issues that started with ie 5, Windows operating systems never working properly, service updates crashing servers etc, etc. But I agree I tend to wait until the first price drop to buy a new console - lots of cheap games to play and you can pick and choose games but would buy the next console without doubt
Great deal, i agree with most of the comments on here regarding the cost of getting the game early on. For me I don't regret buying the game on release and the map packs as they came out, I love the game and have more than got my moneys worth. This though is a great deal - anyone not got the game who fancies ago - I'd definitely recommend it
If the game servers work 100% with no lag - then I don't see it as a problem, what is annoying is paying to play online with major lag etc. I'd rather not pay but the cost is a relatively small one for the benefits I get from online play
