so, msh and i finally got our 360 back a little while back after it froze and red ringed on us just as we started playing fable 2. now, fable 2 is very important to me, kinda nostalgic for me seeing as it was the first xbox game i ever bought, not the first one i ever played mind you, but the first one i ever bought. i remember get my old clunky xbox way after it came out. no box or anything, just a big ass bag red back with a black brick and some wires in it. i saw the poster then and on a whim pre-ordered and and paid it off. the first xbox game i ever played was halo (such a crappy introduction to the system, but it could be worse). one of my friends took me to another one of his friends house to play. i enjoyed it for the most part. the people were ok, for the life of me i cant remember his name but i can still remember where he lived. i got into the game too much, i was very loud, and people got pissed at me for doing so. where was i going with this, oh yes, no where. ANYWAY, i started playing fable as soon as possible and beat it in a couple days. it was an oK game, not the best, certainly not up to my expectations, but my expectations were pretty high. the main thing that bugged me was the fact that the game doesn't have a final boss, i kinda would also like the ability to die, a scar just isn't enough of a consequence to make me care if i die or not. that being said i only have 6 scars, and that's only from one battle, so its not that difficult to play.....except for that battle that is. that was the closest thing i got to a boss battle. oh well, still a good game over all, fables not known for its story lines and it lives up to that, the main point of these games is just the gameplay, you can do so much and i wanted to do it all. it took me ages to ever get to a storyline quest because i would take forever doing the side quests, i didn't want to miss a single thing. so, i got married early in the game, not as early as msh of course, who got married as soon as she hit bowerstone. got married to some lady in oakfield, i forget her name, set our home in serenity something or other place, a nice little place inside a demon door. she wouldn't have sex with me because i didn't have the come back to my place expression............so i sacrificed her to the temple of shadows. hey, its wasn't me, it was my character, hes damned evil. oh well, life goes on, more or less. i waited till the end of the game to get married again. at this point i was just doing it for achievements, in this case a kid. so i got married to what now appears to be a bum named cathy, and set her up in the nice mansion in bloodstone, which apparently isn't nice enough for her, whatever. so, now that i have the come back to my place expression, i can properly make whoopie.had a kid right off the bat, named brian. changed that right quick and with the suggestion of msh, he is now called evil kenivel. shortly after that another one of my kids kinda popped out from nowhere, seriously where the hell did she come from. I'm walking down the street and all the sudden this little girl walks up to me with the child symbol above her head, calling me daddy. now kids grow up fast in this game but i didn't think they came out walking. anyway this little girl, Liz, is the cutest little thing in the game, definitely my favorite of my kids, shes good an' evil just like her dear ol' dad, and she does the little thing where she goes around town and tries to scare everyone, once again, the cutest damn thing I've seen in this game. if you've ever seen monsters inc, its just like the boo thing the little girl in that does. anyways, yea cute. soooooo, my other child, evil, i have a sneaking suspicion hes not mine, seeing as hes black, while i may not have ever bathed and am kind of a grayish color, i am not black, oh well ill just have to take care of him for the time being. i also have this other wife back in the house where i put my original wife. think i have a daughter with her too, not sure. sorry lady, your just and achievement to me. I'm quite proud of my self as far as achievements go in this game, Ive gotten 40 something out of 50 and eventually ill get all of them......if i can make any friends who also play this game, damned needing online people for some of these achievements. i kind of like the fact that clothing in this game doesn't hurt or help your defense, leaves you free to look however you want. i prefer the cuffed overcoat, i don't really care about anything else, i tend to stay away from hats or masks, of course there were those interesting bits down the road, like that mask with that loooooooooong nose i wore for the longest time, or all those woman's cloths that demon door made me where or that time i was a woman. gotta say, i make one ugly woman, switched that back quickly. i don't like much like many of the hair styles they give you, for the majority of the game i had a pony tail, then there was that mullet for said demon door. right now I'm sporting some lovely bright blue dreads, i quite like them, I'm also wearing a big puffy hat that lets only one of my horns stick out and some tights with puffy bits around the thighs which are primarily worn by jesters........and male prostitutes. well over all i think its an ok game, there's a **** load to do and a constant supply of quests to do over and over, im sure eventually it'll all get repetitive, but for now, i think i have a lot more fun to be drained from it.
