I have an external hard drive with backup files and some other files stored on it. Is there any way to put a version of linux on the Hard drive so i can boot any computer from the external hard drive. I still want the hard drive to function as a regular hard drive but i want the option to boot from it as well (with BIOS options). Im mainly using this as a back up device, so i wont be accessing it on a daily basis. I would prefer not to have to format or partition the external drive either.

What are some good multiplayer games other than Halo 3 that are multiplayer on the same tv (not through xbox live...if that makes sense). I would prefer if they were only T rated.

The people at Gamestop said Halo 3 but otherwise there werent very many of them

I recently downloaded 7-Zip (which i heard was the best free file compression program) but when I did a test zip with a 9 megabyte fold (just an assortment of documents and pictures and stuff) it only compressed it down to 8 megabytes, im not sure if im doing anything wrong or if thats just how the program works but i would like it to compress more (which i know it can because ive gotten Zip files that are very small but get much bigger when they are decompressed.

Did you use another email client to download your email to your computer prior to installing Thunderbird? This question I ask because a lot of free webmail services don't necessarily provide POP or IMAP access. Those same services may allow you such access if you upgrade to a higher level account (for $). For example, my Yahoo account is just the free one, and so the only way I can read my Yahoo mail is by logging into the webmail tool on their site. My real email address is from my ISP, and so I happily download my real email using Thunderbird.deadfirezero
I used Microsoft Outlook and it worked fine

downloaded Mozilla Thunderbird and im having trouble adding my email address

i have an msn email adress (*****@msn.com), i have others but ill worry about those later.

How do i add it so i can read my email in Thunderbird, It asks for outgoing servers, IMAP or POP, and incoming servers and i dont know any of that stuff.

can someone explain to me how i can do this.

*Sorry if i am in the wrong place (again) i didnt get any help in OT so this is the closest i could find to PC software discussion*

Thanks

That kid looks like he is dying from no food, not HIV/AIDScool_baller

When a child loses his parents to AIDS, it can lead to the child being malnourished because he has no money to get food and they dont have orphanages like we do here.

Saying that Jeff getting fired is more important the AIDS is very disrespectful.
