That boggles my mind. I easily spent that much time in ME1 and ME2; separately across multiple playthroughs. Heck most RPGs of all flavors, or beloved games in general, hundreds of hours of playtime for completion or otherwise is a hallmark of the genre. If an RPG isn't able to breach that threshold/hold the attention of the player for that long they had better have something else to make up for it. Be it a well-encapsulated story and/or satisfying gameplay or something else. To declare that you want people to complete it and not spend more time in an R-P-G with multiple open world planets to explore feels like backwards logic.
Maybe I'm just misunderstanding what the scope of what they mean by "finishable" is. ME1 was ~17hrs, ME2 ~25hrs for single playthroughs. Some of the greatest RPGs of yesteryear topped out at 20hrs too. It really sounds like more clarification is needed.
@xXl_z3r0_lXx: "The first time I saw the trailer for that movie as a commercial on Hulu, the only thing I could pay attention to was all of the garbage CGI. Not a single one of the green room sets looked even halfway convincing."
Yet here you are talking about a non-video game.*Gasp*. Geek culture isn't confined to just games and this site hasn't been devoted to just games for a long time. But I guess the grown ups can discuss social issues and kids like you can go back to your small table.
@louixiii: You wish but I don't swing that way. Only people that have nothing to prove resort to their baser instincts like some petulant child. But go ahead keep riling up like a manchild. I'll be here laughing at your predictable witty repartee and amusing word salad.
@louixiii: I'm the prick for calling out your shitty behavior on a public forum? That is rich. Have you humped that knife yet? I'm pretty sure the world would laud you exiting it.
@louixiii: Damn dude. That stick you shoved up your ass over in the Killer Instinct thread still hasn't come out? Man, you must LOVE clenching it so tightly. Only "piece of shit" I see here is you. But don't change man. Keep that stick firmly clenched.
