looks and sounds very cool. i loved braid. my wife would sit and watch me play and it was an awesome game to sort of play together. I could see us playing this game together as well. I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one. Easily the most intriguing game I've seen at E3 so far.
this game looks boring. whats with the stupid arms hanging in front? and why can this Thief see contextual footprint clues through walls? Is he a Batman? if the game is supposed to involve stealth, then make players be stealthy. don't give them xray vision and a kill button.
totally agree with the article. unless you jerk it to NFL fantasy football, there wasn't anything to get excited about. its not worth $400-$600 bones to be able to change the channel with my voice, and honestly, how often does one need to change inputs from movie to live tv in a split second? is it cool? sure. does it change the way i live my life? nope. XONE needs a major comeback at E3 to get in the running for my purchase.
If the ONE could function as a DVR for liveTV, that would be a game changer for me. I'd buy it for sure. But i don't see that happening.
what ruins the CQ maps for me is the random spawn points. if they made conquest mode Normal, like they do for all the other maps, and allowed the team to spawn only on their side, or at the flags they control, it would make the flow of those maps way better and allow for some intense log-jam firefights. as it stands now, its just a random cluster F of people running around due to the random spawn points. keep the random spawn points for TDM and get rid of them for conquest. problem solved.
just not impressed with this. futuristic robot stuff doesn't interest me at all. i wouldn't buy this for hte campaign neways so I'll withhold total judgement until i hear more about the MP aspect.
meh.....so far no impressed. i loved black ops but after that got old i got hooked on BF3. with all the expansion packs upcoming for BF3, i'll probably pass on BLOPS 2. the futuristic stuff just doesn't appeal to me.
@Dreizel @DoomSky i agree that there must be some sort of input, otherwise you wouldn't actually be playing the game. however, what i found very interesting was not once did i see a contextual timing button pop up on screen signaling for the player to press. So i'm very curious to know how you actually "PLAY" this game. can't wait to learn more about this game.
