but like all older PC games, there may be various compatibility issues with newer operating systems, pretty much every game designed for win95 ive tried running on Windows 7 doesnt work at all, or has various issues with the graphics.

You're the second person on this thread to say so - Has anyone tried Dos Box portable?

K, listen. I bought RDR on 360 because I bought GTA IV on PS3. This way, I can experience the GTA IV engine for myself on both. The fact is, GTAIV was darker and less detailed on ps3 than on 360, so I expected similar for RDR. At the same time, I don't know where that german comparson video is comeing from, because honestly, I get texture popin on 360 with RDR as well. AND my HDMI sound keeps dropping out temporarily any time the dvd spins up to load/stream some new event as you move through the world.

What-frakkin-ever. The only reason to argue over systems is because you can't afford them all, or you're a fanboy, or both. Will I be happy if PS3 ultimately sells more consoles this gen? Sure. Maybe. Who cares? What's it got to do with choosing whatever game on whatever platform because it's the best, or exclusive, or fun, or whatever you preference is?

[QUOTE="iliatay"]

[QUOTE="RPG-explorer"] Oh really,well i went to school for PC upgrades and repair and i now prefer MAC's, and PC's unreliability and obsolete, inferior software drove me straight to the Apple store, where do you get your knowledge of MAC's ?, i know you've never owned one, and i seriously doubt you ever even used one. At least i can speak from experience i've owned both and mastered both operating systems and sub-systems and Windows is pure garbage and always will be, and as for there larger market share, thats what happens when your the first to the world wide mass market with a new product like the Graphic User Interface, but as we've already seen first doesn't always mean better. So please don't comment on hardware and O.S. systems you know nothing about, because as far as i can remember when both Windows Vista and O.S.-X Leopard came out within months of each other it was Apples new operating system receiving all the great press and reviews from the media, while Microsoft was being slammed and ridiculed as Vista turning out to be there biggest joke yet.RPG-explorer

you're making a complete fool out of yourself. i've seen carrots with more computer knowledge than you. mac is unix based so to even do half the things that windows can, you'd have to learn unix. macs are completely centered around 14 year-old girls that do nothing but surf and play music. nothing in a mac justifies the lunatic price with that crap hardware and the OS that doesnt let you actually "operate" the operating system but your just there to share the mac experience.

Why is it PC fanboys say MAC users like myself make fools of themselves when speaking on Apples behalf but they always come in here and feel it necessary to show us a list of there PC specs, as if there trying to convince us that they have a new up to date superior machine, could it be because they feel insecure about there precious Windows operating system, knowing thats it's garbage so they have to try and brag about the hardware. MAC users never feel obligated to list there specs, maybe it's because we have and have always had an innovative and reliable operating system, funny you never hear about the reliability of a Windows O.S., most likely because it's not.

The avaerage Mac user doesn't know their specs. Why would they? They use last gen hardware and get overcharged for it.

Meh.

I have all the consoles, in fact I bought a second 360 recently for my other room, and I just built a pc that likely puts TC to shame (i7 980x, 24GB ram, Sata III Solid state drive, HD 5970, blahblahblah)

PCs are good for fps and realtime strategy IMO, or anything that lends itself to a mouse. Consoles are good for exclusives, or games suited to a controller. PC games are cheaper and have mod tools, but the hardware costs A LOT more. Console games JUST WORK, and can be played on a couch (although that's not really an issue in my case).

We could go on all day about pluses and minuses of any platform.

Or we can play games.

It depends on how you define "Best". That's all.

NPD is just NA and in case didn't know there is an entire world outside of NA.

I was waiting for a chance to post this picture :P :

As for WWII, the aid we provide every year, the most advanced (but not free) healthcare and best education on the planet (why does everyone come to our universities again?), you're welcome.
