@Mogan: You don't understand how easily the introduction of something new can ruin the continuity of something old... Take the Terminator movies for example, it should have ended with Terminator 2: Judgment Day, but instead they kept introducing plot twists, spin offs and now the ultimate failure Genisys...
Those are all officially released "canon" and as a result they define the Terminator universe and what happened, as a result they sour the entire franchise, you can't just forget that they exist...
He's echoing what we all want out of Battlefront, content, campaign, an amazing narrative to hone and encompass the entire Star Wars experience.
Battlefront is the closest to replicating Star Wars that any game has ever come, it's near perfect in that capacity, the base for a narrative with this game is nearly flawless. The fact that it's simply a shallow multiplayer game is not only a wasted opportunity, it's a complete letdown having the understanding that it could have been so much more...
Imaging being on Endor and interacting with Ewok's, exploring Hoth and navigating its landscapes on a Tauntaun, battling against the Emperor as Luke in a narrative inspired scenario, outrunning Star Destroyers as Han Solo on a smuggling mission... The sky is the limit, and all EA and Disney did with this game is give it an 8 foot ceiling...
Microsoft since June of 2014 has righted every wrong thing they've done, I have no doubts they will right the PC ship as well, Phil is aware of this, that's the biggest tipping factor right there.
