Good question, but you should have used "games" instead of "genres" Because like others have said, CS and CoD are both FPSs but CS has a way steeper learning curve, therefore requiring more skill. But I believe it all depends on what the developer had in mind as far as how difficult his/her game would be. So, yes, I think some games require more skill than others.

Thanks gmax for trying to help, but I am positive it has nothing to do with my level because you can post personal blogs at any level. I should have been more specific in my description of the problem. Mind you I use this website through my mobile device and whenever I tap a vacant space where you can input text, I use a virtual keyboard to type. But my problem occurs whenever I try to tap the message box, nothing happens, the virtual keyboard does not show up. And that's why I could not reply to your PM. I can only communicate through quick replies. I am absolutely stumped...

Sorry for posting in your thread OP, but I can't start my own to explain my technical issue. I am not able to post a topic or write a blog now. It was working fine last night though. But what has me perplexed is I am able type in all the other boxes like the title, tags, etc. Also I went to another site to see if I was able to make a thread and it worked. I'm thinking it could be broken code or something.

It's a stupid online pass that some companies do, they do the same thing with the 360 version. It's done to try and stop used game sales, if you buy a game used you have to buy a pass to unlock the online feature on certain games, mainly EA and Ubisoft games. If you buy it new you get the pass included, the pass only needs to be activated one time, you don't have to keep paying a fee.

PSN is free though, you can play online without a subscrption unlike Xbox Live. Both services play exactly the same online, just one is free (PSN) and one charges you but gives you cross game chat (XBL).

Ah,so that is the reasoning behind it. I was under the impression the publishers were just implementing another money sucking tactic. I understand game companies need revenue, but trying to stop used game sales is plain wrong in my eyes.

Sorry to hear that. But not all games require you to pay for online play, just a few select titles. For the most part PSN is completely free of charge except DLC. Try Call of Duty or Medal of Honor, etc. And usually when you buy a game that has online play, it usually comes with a free pass. Check your BF3 case.

What console are you converting from? RDR is an enjoyable and amusing game. Unfortunately I have not played Uncharted yet, but I do hear it is a fantastic action/adventure title. I would suggest reading reviews for for each game, maybe view some gameplay videos. Then make a final decision. But if you are looking for a lenghty game with loads of content and replayability, RDR is your best bet out of those two.

--THE INFINITE BLACK-- This space mmorpg is one of, if not the BEST FREE android games on the market right now! If you are a sci-fi fan and love rpgs, this game is just for you. It is currently in beta right now and has a huge playerbase. The development team, whalesong games, are an awesome bunch of people and listen to the players. They aren't just a b money-hungry, faceless company. Cyric, the game's creator, is very devoted to his project and has set out to make this game GREAT. It has a ton of potential and I beloeve it will be one of the top 3 android games out there. It is like the oldschool text-based MUDs with visuals. You start off a lvl 1 shuttle equipped with nothing but an autocannon and a +5 storage unit. The concept is brilliant, the game world is a vast space grid which consists of "sectors" These are the places you can move your ship, and you never know what youll encounter in a sector. Anyways there's so much going on in the game. Just check it out in googleplay and at whalesonggames.com

I am currently on the straight-talk $45 a month plan which is unlimited talk, text and data. And the phone I have is the Galaxy Precedent, which in my opinon is the little brother of the Galaxy S2, so far so good.

I was in the same boat up until Halo 4 was released *Puts up flame shield* But on a serious note, FPS titles do tend to lose their freshness quicker then games of other genres. And reason being is mostly due to the fact that games like CoD, BF3, etc. are very limited as far as gameplay mechanics and concepts. Developers can only do so much with the standard shoot em' up war game cookie-cutter formula. My suggestion to you is to step outside of your gaming comfort zone and try some different games, here's some suggestions: 1. Assassin's Creed (Any of them) 2. Fallout 3 (FPRPG) 3. Batman (AA or AC) 4. Mortal Kombat 5. Red Dead Redemption 6. Dead Space 7. Mass Effect (Any) 8. Drake's Fortune (Any) 9. Dragon Age Origins 10. Elder Scroll (Oblivion or Skyrim) Those are all fantastic titles sure to keep your mind off boring fps's. (P.S. The numbers aren't any type of ranking, just tryed to keep it organized.)
