Playing the sales figures eh. Once again there are years left to this gen so one again get over it.

What can Microsoft put up against the following. Counter ever one with a game exclusive to Xbox.

1. KillZone 2

2. Uncharted 2

3. God of War 3

4. Heavy Rain

5. Infamous

6. Jak and Dexter

7. Twited Metal PS3

8. DC Universe Online

The exclusive list goes on and on and on. Saying anything like "Trailers, CGI and FLOPS" = self ownage. These game proove that this gen is far from over "for PS3 at least". I dont see anything in 360's future that competes with this list.

So in a way you are right. Still glad I own a PS3. At least I have GAMES to look forward too.

yeah you keep naming them those overhyped titles..and btw DC universe online is on the PC also, nice try PC gaming counts in SW also meaning the game is multiplatform.

Yup! that's why when I always go in Wal-Mart they are always sold out of PS3s. Sony has a target to ship 10 million PS3s this year. If I am not mistaken last time they updated us on this they were actually ahead of their targets. Come March 2009 they may have shipped even more then originally planned.

pretty pathetic numbers , the PS3 wont even reach the 20th million mark this year and the 360 is well it's way to 30 million on to next year...

My guess late 2010 early 2011. Lemmings are already claiming victory over the ps3 when we are just heading into the middle of this gen there are still alot of games to come and the xbox brand is weaker worldwide than the playstation brand. A year head start a cheaper price and only a 5-6 million lead when the gap was around 8-9 at the launch of ps3. If we were to look back at last gen the ps2 was ahead by about 10-11 million at xbox's launch, xbox never closed the gap at all in fact it only grew. Considering a stronger worldwide brand appeal and a price drop within the next year not to mention sony's history of longer console lifespans than its competitors I would say its pretty easy to predict the ps3 eventually passing the 360. Doesn't mean the 360 won't be and isn't a success especially looking at its library but realistically MS is going to have to pull out some big guns to maintain that lead over the next 3 years which I don't see happening especially since they castrated their internal first party studios.Citan_Uzuki

Sony sucks - Yeah Microsoft makes so many innovative games, keep them coming. Can't wait for sequals to LIPS and Your at the Movies :roll:

PSP and DS were selling about the same when they both released. Hell PSP was even beating the DS in NA for the first year or so. I don't really care about handhelds anyway so whatever.

Yup people counted the PS3 out early and called it Sony's last console pre maturely but quickly switched tunes once the sales numbers for the year of 2007 were announced. 360 lost in its more prized year with problaby it's best lineup of games which included the holy grail for Xbox gamers Halo 3. Sony is in last place in total sales but sales more units then the Xbox 360 on a yearly basis. PS3rd not confirmed.

Yeah Sony had some issues with some of its games but that didn't stop them from having their best lineup of games this year since launch. Meanwhile Xbox 360 has been recieving flop after flop left and right all year long.
