Condemned, the best reason!

Well, it's pretty clear that I won't own an X-box 360 at launch, I took to much time making up my mind but still I've been interested enough to look into a lot of facts about the console in itself and the games.

Needless to say X-box 360 is in my eyes a console that I will own, sooner or later, it's a great machine, and for me that never owned an X-box the backwards compabality will give plenty of chances for great gaming moments coming from old X-box games.
One concern on that topic is Black...will it be playable on the 360? Well I sure hope so...otherwise my old PS2 will have to do the job, and I don't think it will be to my benefit.

Enough about the old games let's talk about the new ones, or at least the lack of "must have"-ones from my point of view.
You see, Condemned is in my eyes the way to go if you're only going to buy one game, it just feels more original than the other ones, I know Call of duty 2 looks great...and believe me my recommendation for people who is planning to get 2 games at launch, is that Call of duty 2 is the second one.

But what about the sportsgames?
Yeah, what about them...hmmm...let me see, one thing, forget them!..please do. If you've been around for a while you know that the first versions of the sportsgames on each console has just done two things, One: Looked better and Two: Lacked in new ideas and value.
Somehow EA and the others, time after time think that they can just get away with better graphics...well one thing for sure, they fooled me once, won't fool me twice.

But hey, the racing/driving games..what about them?
Oh sorry, I almost forgot about those...and I normally do, because I only have one thing to say about that kind of games, I ain't playing them, so my point of view about them shouldn't matter to anyone. I also suck at them just so you know
I can tell you one thing though, they look darn fantastic! =)

That's about all the thoughts I have on the matter at the moment.
You people that have an X-box 360 pre-ordered and ready won't have any regrets about it...one tip though...get an HD TV 8)

That's all for now, see ya folks

X-box, X-box 360 or neither one?

Today is one of those days when I just can't help but thinking that x-box does have some great games...some great games I haven't even played, but yet really want to!

The big questionmark for me is...an X-box now....an X-box 360 on release or just forget the whole thing again? I must confess that when X-box came I wasn't into it at all, I didn't hate it but I remember that the controller really turned me of, and I think that I will still take my sweet time to get used to it.
The big thing that speaks for it is the games, and some of the games that seems to be making thier way onto X-box 360.
I really want backwards compability on the 360, I want to be able to buy old and new X-box games and play them on it, if it really will be possible I'm so totally in...if it's not...well I might just forget the whole thing again.
