I watched this movie yesterday. I get that someone might look at this movie through pink glasses and give it 6/10, when in reality this is more like 3/10.
Gamespot is giving it 9/10. Really? :) Honestly, why I'm even visiting this website anymore. It's just a bad habit at this point.

Let me just write that it's totally fine with me if someone gives this game lower scores. There's tons of games I don't like but other people enjoy (For example Assasins Creed Valhalla, I find it boring but my fiance loves it).
I get the point that the game is buggy and it can lower the score, fair enough.
But please... assign reviewers to the games/genres they're interested in. This way, myself as a consumer can relate to the review easier. I love Mario games for example, and I wouldn't be happy seeing low scores for Mario Oddysey for example from someone who usually plays CoD games.
Again, it's totally fine for the reviewer to have her opinions, and she shouldn't be insulted for them. But it might benefit the review better if you would bring someone who loves cyberpunk genre, is familiar with the lore and how the world looks/feels and likes it.
Sometimes I really think Gamespot is doing this on purpose to generate clicks on their website. Here's another idea, why not get someone who plays strictly Call of Duty games to review next Pokemon game? I don't have anything against these, but I hope you understand what I mean.
This is really not the first time I see this. I still remember 6/10 for Prey from Arkane, and I did enjoy a lot that game.

Hmm, looks and plays like 8 or 9 game. I respect reviewers opinion, but I honestly think this is some kind of clickbait. I still remember Prey review where they gave that game also 6 out of 10.
When I was 15 years old I did perceive Nintendo as a company which is making games only for 9 year old kids. Now I'm almost 33, and after more than 20 years of gaming I've learned that Nintendo is making one of the best games on the market. After getting bored of repetitive stories and gameplay mechanics, I've bought a Wii U 5 years ago. I totally didn't expect it, but I fell in love with Nintendo. Such a shame that so much fun missed me when I was a teenager, looking up to games "for adults".
I'm sure you understand that at the moment you give a game an unjust score, you're really affecting its sales. This can lead in the future for a developer to drop support for a platform. From what I see, this game is quite good and it's enjoyed by many. It has its shortcomings of course, but it really doesn't deserve 5/10.
You did something similar with the game "Prey" giving it 6/10. Which it didn't deserve that score either.
People have different opinions, and there are some of us which might not enjoy "MGSV"(which I love), or Call of Duty(which I like) or Mario Kart 8 which I love as well. That's really cool, people have different tastes. Personally, I don't enjoy "Crusader Kings 2" game, but I wouldn't give it 5/10 as I can see that the game is valuable for the genre enthusiasts.
As a game reviews site YOU SHOULD THINK TWICE, and ask a few reviewers to take a look at the game before posting your scores.
