Interesting how the editor keeps stating that the Xbox 360 version of each of these games look "slightly" better, yet, all I see is that the PS3 version offers deeper colors and a less muddier ambiance. But I guess more importantly is that none of these games play significantly better on either console and both offer similar gameplay experiences.
leonheart_z, I somewhat agree with you. I guess people compare them because they are both portable devises to play games. But the difference is that the PSP is capable of doing much more and the games are close to PS2 quality, while the DS appeals more to small children and people who like simple and quick games, They are in different leagues and appeal to a different segment of the videogame market.
I'll stick with my original PSP. The differences aren't significant enough for people to drop their original PSPs in change of the slim version. Sorry Sony, but keep trying ...
I have the big fortune of owning all three new and next gen consoles. The Wii is fun, but the graphics get old very quickly and so does the gimmicky Wii-mote. The Virtual Console is a plus, but not reason enough to justify the old gen graphics. The Wii is like "two GameCubes duck-taped together." LOL!!! I love my Xbox 360 and falling in love with my new PS3. It's like having the best of both worlds, or three. I get MS, SONY and Nintendo exclusives and get to pick the better looking cross-platform games. Fanboys are so STUPID, meaning IGNORANT. Instead of bashing other consoles, get a job and enjoy all that they have to offer, believe me, you wont be disappointed. Anyway, take care and happy gaming!!!
Hello everyone! Personally I don't think the PS3 is all that expensive. Sure. many might say that $600 is a lot of money, and it is, but not for what you're getting. Please take the following scenario into consideration: The Xbox 360 is $400. If you add the wireless network adapter then the price is no longer $400, but $500, which is what the 20 Gig PS3 model costs. However, the Xbox 360 still doesn't have the Blu-Ray capabilities. Now lets add the the HD-DVD component, that's another $200, which brings it up to $600 without wireless and $700 with the wireless adapter and it will still only have 20 Gigs of storage. MS will most likely release a larger HD before the holiday season, which will add another $100 or so to the mix. That means that it will no longer be $400, but approximately $800 to be on par with what the PS3 already comes with the minute you open the box. Additionally, the PlayStation Network is and will continue to be free, while in order to play with others online via Xbox Live, you have to pay $50 yearly. I don't know about you guys, but the PS3 is a pretty good deal to me. Take care.
What's up?! I've already beat the 72-Hour Mode twice, but I can't seem to be able to unlock the Overtime Mode. I tried pressing down on the D-pad like this guide says, but the cursor doesn't move into the blank space that it says it will. Can anyone please assist me?! Thanx!!!
