Gamespot today.

I have Temporarly returned to Gamespot to observe what it has become...

Gamespot was once a great place, the most glorious Utopia of Gaming News that could be found in the vast emptiness of the Internet. People were generally happy. Game-related Media was observed, news was read and there were many "SHOOT OUTS!" and strange DS manicure games from Japan to be had.

Then one day.... The one of the Gods left Gamespot to places unknown. Many were saddened by this and worried for the Future of Gamespot. But the Pantheon was still strong and the Utopia continued to florish.

The one day... Eidos. One of the hundreds of Cooperations that were essential in the creation of Gamespot, created "Kane & Lynch: Dead Men." A game. They offered Gamespot's overlord much wealth in exchange for promotion of said game. The Overgod, corrupt and greedy, took up this offer without hesitation.

When it came time to review this game, The God Gerstmann, the most favoured of all the Gods gave the game a low score. A fair score for a mediocre game. Eidos and the Overgod, enraged by this, banished Gerstmann from Gamespot.

The ejection of Gerstmann caused chaos among both the people and the Gods. Civil War raged, Anarchy ruled over Gamespot. Eventually, the Great Migration occured. Gamespot was no longer the Utopia it was. Many travelled to distant lands and settled in different Gaming Sites. I was one of these. Travelling to the distant land of GameTrailers.

Many Gods left to join Gerstmann in an attempt to forge a new Kingdom. Without any Gods to protect them, Gamespot was ravaged by the Hellspawn Minions of Sargeras. Lord of Hades. The Kingdom of GameSpot is now a wasteland. The denizens that remained are either soulless zombies or Nomads, foolishly trying to rebuild the Kingdom to it's former glory. The new pantheon is young and inexperienced, And will likely be unable to reforge GameSpot.

As I sit and write this. The Skies over GameSpot are blocked out by thick, dark clouds. The land is ravaged and the kingdom is a ruin. I write this in the hopes that whoever is reading this will free themselves of the Tyranny of the Overgod and follow me to Gametrailers or travel to another place.

If GameSpot's wounds are to heal, it will take time. But to stay is foolish. Go now, and don't look back. I too hope to return one day to GameSpot. It was a glorious place.

The Big Three or: How I learned to stop being a fanboy and love the PS3!

This was taken from my "Gametrailers" Blog... My new Gaming Website of choice (Besides Gamesradar, that s*** is funny!)

Check out the uncensored (Gasp! SwearZ!)version here:

For a little while now, (Read: Since it's inception) I thought the PS3 was... Well... Complete and utter garbage, and I wasf***ingDEVESTATED, when it was released. I believed it took everything that was good about the PS2 (My console of choice at the time.) and just soiled it. Around that time I found comfort in the arms of the Xbox 360.

But now, when I look back on it, why did I really believe what I did? The answer finally hit me... It was because EVERYONE else did! I was being a conformist! Now, I believe in non-conformity, but not to any extremes. I listen to Power Metal, don't smoke pot (at least 70-75% of my school does, therefore it's conformity.) and I play video games... ALOT of video games.

At the time of it's release, I could not find a piece of information that said anything positive about the PS3. That, coupled with my love for the PS2 ultimately drove me to the belief that the PS3 was a failure, and supporting it was bad.

It was until recently, after reading Dennis Dyack's comments regarding "One console to rule them all" for a second time ( I thought he was crazy.) I came to realize that all the consoles are equal in there many flaws and many pros, so there can't be any "Better Console" Either they're all "Thes***" or just "S***" It's up to you to decide.

So in otherwords, I have evolved beyond primitive Fanboyism, I urge all Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo (Do they exist?) Fanboys to stop being ****heads.

Musical Goodness

I decided to Archive my budding CD Collection (Read: Babies!) on Gamespot, that way I don't have to run upstairs to know what CD's I own:

- Rhapsody (of Fire) - Symphony of Enchanted Lands: Part I

- Rhapsody of Fire - Triumph or Agony

- Iced Earth - Framing Armaggedon: Something Wicked Part I

- DragonForce - Inhuman Rampage (Deluxe Edition)

- In Flames - Clayman (Deluxe Edition)

- Iron Maiden- A Matter of Life and Death

- Sonata Arctica - Unia

- 3 Inches of Blood - Advance and Vanquish

- Trivium - The Crusade

- Gamma Ray - Majestic

Blacksite Emblem.

It kinda sucks that I missed out on the Live Feed, cuz that Emblem looks pretty cool. I guess I'll have to watch the "U R MR GAY (Lol references) Gameplay Marathon. I was told that has an Emblem.

Have not been updating lately.

And it's all the Orange Box's fault... Half-Life 2 is theS***. And who knows what's going to happen when I (FINALLY!) purchase some Gold Membership, and (FINALLY!) get to play Team Fortress 2...

Also, Mission 7 in Lost Planet is HAAAAARD!

Why I'm glad I own a Wii60.

I'll admit that Halo 3 is fun and all, it's not one of those games that I'll constantly keep playing Over, and over, and over. The single player is better than the previous installments, the multiplayer is even better, and I do like the additional goodies (Forge, Armors, etc.) but I still can't shake the feeling that I've done it all before.

Though the 360 Line-up has some currently released (Bioshock, Oblivion, Halo 3, Blue Dragon/Eternal Sonata, The Orange Box, PGR4, COD4, Conan, Ace Combat6, etc.) and some Upcoming (Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Lost Odyssey, etc.) gems. There are an assload of great games going to the Wii that will Hopefully break the cycle of Terrible 3-party trash, and party games, and give me something worth buying that isn't on the Virtual Console.

There are some great looking games coming out (Super Mario Galaxy, (U R MR GAY Dragon Quest Sword: The masked queen and the Tower of Mirrors, Project O (Also called King Story), Raving Rabbids 2, Nights: Journey of dreams, etc.)

But the One that I need...Which hasthe potential to be the greatest game ever made...(Even though it's not out till '08.. :( )

SUPER SMASH BROTHERS BRAWL! ... (You should have seen this coming.)

I don't really need to explain how awesome this game is, Any game website/Magazine can.

I'd just like to point out that, the crap that they're doing with the Adventure mode, is enough to make me orgasm.

*EDIT* The new Samba de Amigo (by Gearbox? wtf?) and Ghost squad, are up there with SSBB. And I take back those mean things about Halo 3.

Jet Force Gemini

Where's my sequel to JFG? Seriously Rare... Wtf? You're begining to work on a new Perfect Dark, but no JFG? What's up with that? That game deserves a sequel, but not if it sucks.

Project Gotham Racing 4

I picked up PGR4, and here are my thoughts on it:

- It's fun.

- It's fun.

- It's sexy.

- Achievements are pretty easy to get.

- Nice selection of cars, unfortunately the DeLorean doesn't travel through time.

- Sound/Music are pretty good.

- Geometry Wars Waves is pretty fun, but nowhere close to Retro Evolved.

And that pretty much sums up my thoughts on it. Check it out, it's a cool game.

Alot of crap.

Just some pointless updates.

Got some new Arcade games:

- Contra

- Castlevania: SOTN

- Pac-Man Championship Edition

- Prince of Persia Classic

- Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved

- Space Giraffe (Mediocre, and impossible to get achievements!)

Still need to go out and by a bunch of games. (Halo 3, Orange Box, TES:O:GOTY, PGR4, BioShock.) And now with Mass Effect, and Lost Odyseey on the way, I think I might have to get another job, and turn 17!

I also might have to buy Ghost squad for my brother's Wii. I really want to shoot Ninja's in a Panda suit!)

In other news, Player's ball was hella-sweet.
