Blog 8 : Assassin's Creed Chronicles- China Review

I have to say I had rather low expectations about this game seen as it was a different style to the rest of the Assassin's Creed, but I was completely wrong. I love the game, it was so much fun, it made me rage and was rather frustrating in parts which surprisingly made me love it even more. The way that you played the same from a side view was cool, the controls were simple to use and the graphics were awesome. I really likes the fighting styles and the different skills which you learn throughout the game. I like the other Assassin's Creed games you could synchronize and do the leap of faith into hay carts which I fought was so cool. I don't think I have any negatives about the game the story was interesting, the main Assassin Shao Jun was an awesome character to play and 16th Century China was interesting. The landmarks which the game progress through were stunning with lots of different routes which lead to secondary objective, chests, and helix fragments.

I'm looking forward to playing the other Chronicles which are India and Russia, as they will have there own unique story with other Assassin's.

Blog 7 : Life is Strange- Episode 1 Review

Just finished playing the first episode of Life is Strange, and i have to say it has a very interesting story line so far. A first is was a bit confused but straight away it started to my a little sense, i'm hoping in the next few episodes it will explain the power a bit more. I really like the idea of having options on the decisions that you are making, it makes it rather interesting as each decision will lead to different consequences. I'm looking forward to the next episodes as there are 5 in total, the first episode was quite long so i'm excited to see if the remaining episodes are the same. I don't want to reveal any of the story line as I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't played it yet. I totally recommend it, its been very good so far and i'm intrigued to see how the story is going to progress.

Blog 6 : Round up of the past year I have been silent

Well, it's been over a year since my last blog about a game! I completely forgot to write a reviews when I played and completed games.. Worst Blogger Ever! But I am going to sort myself out and start doing it again seen as there are a lot of awesome games coming out over the next few months and I want to try and play as many of them as I can! The last blog I did was just after I completed Unity and I did a review about all the Assassin's Creed which i had played. Since then I have bought 9 new games! I will just summarize my opinion on them and they wont be in the order which I bought them, cause to be honest I have no idea which one I bought first and which one I bought last...

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate

Going to start off with Syndicate seen as my previous blog was about Assassin's Creed. There have been a lot of mixed opinions which is too be expected as everyone is entitled to their own opinion about a game, but as for me I LOVED IT! As soon as the game had finished installing I was playing it none stop, I found the story really interesting and the fact it was based in London was just awesome (I'm British). It was also the first Assassin's Creed where you could actually play as a female assassin who has a story, which i was really happy about! The map was a decent size and there was plenty of things to do even after the story was completed. There was lots of famous historical people involved in the story which was cool, including Queen Victoria, which I found funny, but climbing around the palace was so much fun and seeing the palace guards marching around the grounds in their red uniforms and tall marshmallow looking hats. Overall everything about the game i just loved, a bit annoyed that I have to wait till 2017 for a new Assassin's Creed, but.... I will be awesome so will be worth it!

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor

At first I wasn't going to get this game cause it looked really scary! But after being persuaded by my sister I bought it and it was so so so awesome! And it actually wasn't scary at all. It was such as well made game, the story was interesting, the maps are so cool too very well created and rather scary. The weapons are sick! I love the ghostly Bow and Arrow, mainly because i am awesome at using it! I fully recommend the game, you can also chose between a female and male character which is awesome :D

Rise of the Tomb Raider

This game was one of my favorites to play, everything about it was so amazing! The story was so good and interesting, I literally didn't move away from my Xbox until i had fully completed it! I actually found it rather difficult in parts which made me loving it even more as it made it more challenging! The outfits are so cool and the weapons/ tools are sick and actually quite easy to use. The map/ environment/ scenery was so so so beautiful, i probably spent a lot longer than i needed to in most areas of the map just because it was just standing around taking everything in. The Tombs were so awesome and some messed with my head, proper made me think and got me rather stuck... but when i eventually figured it out i would feel stupid afterwards cause it would be something simple but not obvious. I'm not sure whether their is going to be another, i really hope so cause i love it so much *fingers crossed*! Totally recommend this game to anyone who enjoys adventure, puzzles and awesomeness!!

Watch Dogs

I finally managed to finish this game and it so good, i really enjoyed playing it! Especially all the cool hacking which could do like; changing the traffic lights, making things explode, stealing money and so much more. The story was actually so interesting, took me a while to get into the game but once I was hooked, i was hooked! Can't wait for Watch Dogs 2 its gonna be awesome, i will be buying it as soon as the game is released! I hope, if i have the money *fingers crossed*

Thief

Out of all my games, Thief is the only game which i haven't played and completed. I tried to play it but found it rather strange, and very similar to Assassin's Creed. I will eventually give the game a proper go and hopefully will like it at some point, but at the moment it's just sitting on my shelf.

Star Wars Battlefront

I pre-ordered this game cause I was so so so excited (huge star wars fan), It was one of my best purchases this year! I had so much fun playing this game, really wished there was a story that would have been so awesome. The character which were playable where so cool, favorite was Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia! I really enjoyed all the maps some where difficult to play on, with some areas being very open, or very tight, but overall i love them all. My favorite map is Hoth with the game mode Walker Assault, its so much fun!! The guns where rather cool, but they where all very similar , my favorite gun to use was the targeting rifle, takes a couple of shots to kill someone but once you get the hang of it, it was boss! I read online that they are beginning to make Battlefront 2! I really really really hope this is true! That would make me so happy and excited!!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

At first I thought that Black Ops was going to be a lot like Advance Welfare, which was going to make me sad, i didn't like that game very much... But, i was actually surprised, the story was interesting and i liked it! Online was also rather good, not playing it as much as i would if it was another Call of Duty, but I've just prestige so i'm happy about that! I'm gonna keep playing till i reach max prestige just because its an achievement to have and makes you feel amazing!

Tom Clancy's: The Division

I pre-ordered The Division, it was the most annoying game to be released, it had the game pre-ordered for 1 year before i was actually able to play it. But it was definitely worth the wait! It's for sure one of my favorite games, i played it a lot when it was first released. The story was so good and interesting, the map was huge and so detailed and then there was the multiplayer area called the Dark Zone, which is so awesome! I took me so long before i actually went into the DZ, the tall walls and containment signs were actually really scary! The game went a little bad in the DZ after a while cause there wasn't any good loot and it was difficult to get and find the good loot. After the update when gear was brought into the DZ, the division just got so much more awesome all over again! I love this game so much, always been a huge fan of Tom Clancy games, and i'm really looking forward to seeing what more games are coming out soon.

I'm going to try and do better at reviewing the games i play and doing blogs, hopefully there wont be a year between this one and the next!

Blog 5 : Assassins Creed Reviews

It's been a while since I posted a blog and seen as Assassins Creed Syndicate is coming out in 63 days i have decided to share my views on all the Assassins Creed on the 360 and the One.

I have been a huge fan of Assassins Creed since the start with Altair In La-ahad, the whole idea of playing a game based in 1191 AD intrigued me so much. I was a different type of game that I normally play which was Call of Duty. Everything about Altair was awesome his outfit, the fact he did parkour and expecially the drive he did when synchronising the map. The whole story of the Assassins and Templars was so interesting, seeing how the people lived and the clothes they really made you feel connected to the game. The Assassins weapon which defined the Assassins from other people was the hidden blade, it was a mechanism on the wrist which allowed you to preform stealthy and silent kills. The hidden blade work as a blade which springs out with a flick of the wrist, it is used to assassinate someone without being detected.

Altair was the start of an awesome collections of games which you experience the feel of traveling through time to the different centuries.

The story of Desmond Miles and the Animus was just the start of finding out about his Ancestors.

Assassins Creed II is the story of Ezio Auditors De Firenze now where to start with him, he was one of my favourite Assassins to play, and for a character in a game he was pretty good looking. His story was based in Florence in the year 1476, Ezio at first was a Baker turned Assassin. In this game we met a very well known Artist called Leonardo Da Vinci, who created some awesome gadgets for Ezio. Now his outfit that was very impressive compared to Altair which was white and basic, Ezio's outfit was very nice indeed his Cape, the white and red outfit colour, the huge silver Creed logo around waist. What you can't forget is the double hidden blade which was made for Ezio by Leonardo, this allowed Ezio to preform double assassinations at once.

Ezio's story continued onto two more games: Assassins Creed Brotherhood and Assassins Creed Revelations. In Revelations Ezio is an older Assassin but he is still so badass.

Assassins Creed 3 is based on the story of Ratonhnhaké:ton (no idea how to say that), later named Connor ( oh thank god so much easier to say) after Achilles son who past away. Master Assassin Achilles Davenport teaches Connor the ways of an assassin which was so awesome as Connor was born in a tribe with the mohawk people. There was alot of negative responce towards this Assassins Creed but i thought it was so good, Connor had a bow and arrow which he used to hunt animals such a bears, wolfs, rabbits, bobcats and alot more woodland animals. He also had the most insanly awesome tomahawk! I also really enjoyed the story and the fact the cities where boston and new york, then you had the huge woodland area called the frontier. Connor had the coolest home with a secret door which leads to a basement, the village Connor lived in was called Davenport, at the start of the game it was empty and bear, when you helped people they moved and lived in the villege where a new building was renovated.

Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag now that was an amazing game! The story was about a pirate assassin called Edward Kenway, he was also really attractive for a character in a game! The map was huge and i dont mean a big city, i mean a couple of cities, the ocean which had alot of villeges and forts. What was so unique about this assassins creed was the fact you had a ship which you sail and travel the ocean. Another awesome thing was you still can hunt animals but also go harpooning in the ocean for sea creatures such as the great white shark, hammer head shark, whales and other sea creatures. You can pick fights with enemy ships and upgrade you ship to make it more resistant to being shot at by cannons.

The next Assassins Creed called Rogue, this was about an Assassin turned Templar called Shay Cormac, who turn templar because he didnt agree with what the Assassins where doing! At first i didnt like Rogue it remind me too much of Black Flag but as i played more and more of the game i started to like it, you had to huge oceans one of which was very cold with snow, ice burgs (they were a pain in the ass), and alots of different animals which would live it that habbit such as polar bears, narwals, whales. The story was very interesting the assassins at the start of the game destroy a whole city with a powerful object, the rest of the game follows Shays path of stopping the Assassins he once fought with side by side to using any means necessary to stop them destroying another city.

The first xbox one Assassins Creed is Unity and I loved it so much the story of Arno Dorian with his childhood friend Elise who actually appeared I'm the end sequence of Rogue when they where children. Arno was another attractive character who was just awesome this Assassins Creed was based in the city of Paris. One thing I found really awesome and different was the parts of the games where the Animus and Arrow story had a slight moment where at one point your in Paris where there's the Eifel Tower and a world war with tanks and planes. You can also complete missions which are called helix where your put into a different century and you have to collect these pieces of data, rescue the Assassin who is trapped all while your against a time limit and in one of the helix's tornados!! Of course the worst thing ever happened at the end, not going to spoil it but yep I cried..

The next Assassins Creed coming out on the Xbox One and PS4 is called Syndicate with the characters who are twins called Jacob and Evie Frye. The game is due to release in October 2015 so not long left to wait it's about 60 days or so and I am super super excited!!

Thank you for reading my review of the Assassins Creed.

Blog 4 : Battlefield Hardline Review

I purchased Battlefield Hardline for the Xbox One, this blog is going to be about my opinion of the game!

To start off i am a Call of Duty gamer not a Battlefield gamer, i complete the story on battlefield then half the time dont touch it, unlike Call of Duty where i play multiplayer alot!!

Back to Hardline, i loved the story, it is totally different to the other battlefields and to many other games on the platform. In case people dont understand hardline is about the police rather than the armed forces.

With it being on the xbox one, the graphics where amazing, even the most simple thing are detailed.

The story behind Hardline was very good and interesting!!

Seen as it only came out today i dont want to say much more on the story as i dont want to spoil it!!

Onto multiplayer, like i said before i play Call of Duty, so i never really play battlefield multiplayer..

The guns are awesome, the maps are awesome, the game modes are different and cool!!

Blog 2 : My Call of Duty: Ghosts opinion!!

Call of Duty: Ghosts

I hear a lot of people saying that they really don't like Ghosts, everyone's opinions are different and its understandable not everyone likes the same things! My opinion is that i really do like it, its one of the Call of Duty's which i enjoy and play a lot. I like everything about the game; the maps, the guns, the character customization, how the prestige is done. The story was pretty awesome i have to say the way it started off was just surreal, absolutely crazy so much was going on all at once. These are just a few things i like about the maps and guns:

Maps: At first i thought the maps where interesting, they where different that's for sure, but it was a good different. Just the little things which happen like little earthquakes every now and again on some map, and the fact on Freight you can open and close doors. There are also so many maps which you can snipe on such as Prison Break, there's a lot of tree coverage, plenty of places to couch or prone and just pick off anybody in your cross-hairs. Whiteout is also a great map, lots of wide open spaces and cheeky sniping positions. Stonehaven is my favorite sniping map there are some good vantage point which you can see the majority of the map but its exposed if you stay there for too long you are sure to be picked off by other snipers in the game, what i love about the map its self is the beauty of castle and ruins. Not only is it a perfect sniping map but also good for close contact with a maze of sneaky corners and cover.

Every maps you play you just adapt and use a certain gun, there all just so different from one an other, and that's what i really like about this game there are maps which people love and there are also maps which people hate but everyone is different.

Guns: Where do i start, i am in love with the guns on Ghosts, the look of them, the fact that some of the guns have a built in attachment just everything. I'm a sniper person hard scoping or quick scoping ill use a sniper on any size map, and the snipers in this game are awesome. My favorite is the USR i use it all the time its got a built in recoil compensator which reduces kick, the attachments which i use are the thermal scope and extended mags, i occasionally make a second sniper class with a variable zoom lens instead but i mainly use thermal. If i'm not using a sniper then its either the Honey Badger assault rifle or the MR-28 marksman rifle. One thing i can say about the Honey Badger is that is just totally awesome, its got a built in silencer which allows you to have either 2 or 3 attachments on your weapon, i put the red dot sight on, the foregrip and extended mags on a really good game i'm unstoppable.

This is just my opinion on some of the things i like about Ghosts, it is one of my favorite Call of Duty's and i've played them all from Call of Duty 2 upto Call of Duty: Advance Warfare!
