Is this a serious estimation?

When do you all think we're going to see Half Life 2: Episode III? I'm hoping for late next year, but I don't think Valve can make that date. Also do you guys think we'll see a new engine out of Valve when they release Half Life 3? They are making a third game, right?

Graphics are something that has very little room for subjective review.

Crysis DOES have some of the best graphics to date, like the game or not.

To say its graphics are sub par, or to say that they are not well made is just silly and innacurate. It would be like saying the CG in the watchman was terrible just because you didn't like the movie ending.

We can rate graphics with an objective detachment from all other qualities of a game. Artistic direction is seperate and open for debate.

I agree. I think this guy is taking issue more with the art direction rather than the graphics. At that point, it's understandable how you could say L4D looks better than Crysis.

Would anyone be disappointed if the end to the series was Gordon vs. G-Man?

I've been using a Logitech RumblePad II and it feels like playing the original SF II on SNES.

It was a bit of fun, but I didn't like the fighting mechanics. Also the whole my biceps are bigger than my head feel of the characters was obnoxious.

I had a some trouble installing it... it finally worked when I put an old DVD drive back into my rig. I was not able to install it using my DVD burner.

I'm playing through it now and enjoying it quite a bit. The traveling is less of a burden once you figure out how to use the bus system well. The respawning enemies at checkpoints is a bit annoying, mostly because of how quickly it happens. The gameplay is repetative, but for some reason I just love the idea of being a mercenary in Africa for a setting. The story is pretty bad and the NPCs are laughable, but I'm still having fun.
