Monitor:
Acer 3D monitor 24" - GO NON 3D you will get much better performance and it's just a gimmick really...
Chip/Processor:
Intel Core i7 920 - 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Processor - GO IVY BRIDGE a good solid i5 will do for gamingAsus Xonar 7.1 Sound Card - You don't need a sound card unless you are running like surround sound through your PC...
Hard Drives(2): - If you need to have an SSD go with OCZ they do much cheaper models than intel and just as good.
Intel SSD 510 120GB Solid State Hard Drive
Seagate 1TB Barracuda Hard Drive
MotherBoard:
Asus Rampage III Extreme Mother Board - Rampage motherboards offer a lot of features that only really high specced rigs will take advantage of, go with something more simple.
Sound Card
ASUS Xonar 7.1 - already mentioned dont know hwy its twice
Graphics Cards in SLI:
eVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB Graphics card - 1 GB - GDDR5 - use money saved on other items for a better gpu, go 6xx series and you will be futureproofed
RAM/Memory:
6GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline DDR3 1600MHz - Not sure on the cost of this but it sounds branded and over priced, you dont want to be spending more on the brand cause it's all essentially the same, kingston offer some cheaper RAM which is great.
Case: - A cheaper case may not look as good but in the end what you really want is a more easy to use case which is cheaper cause in the end its more about the performance.
HAF X
Mouse:
Razer Death Adder - Mice are down to personal preference so I guess this one is up to you
Keyboard (Mechanical):
Razer Black Widow Ultimate - This may be a little over priced as there are a lot of good keyboards out there for cheaper but hey you get a matching set!
CPU Cooler:
CORSAIR H70 Core High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler - This isn't needed unless you plan OC'ing that CPU by a ton, air cooling is much cheaper and will do you fine.
Optical Drives:
HP 16x DVD±RW Drive Dual Layer - I dont get why you need 2 optical drives, but 16x isnt even that fast you can get 24x for dirt cheap.
And one regular DVD RW optical drive
Power Supply: - I dont know if this is modular or not but you should look into getting one and using A PSU calculator to make sure this isn't more than you need with the end components you choose. Modular cabling will give you a much neater case with better air flow so look into that.
Corsair 750W
Nvidia 3D Vision Kit - I have said my peace on 3D, not worth it in my opinion. You should definitely do a bit of research and choose your own parts, this "computer nut" is just giving you a lot of good parts and skimping on the important stuff to give him the biggest profit, if I were you i'd build it myself (its really easy) or just give a PC shop all the parts and ask them to build it for you, which will give you the best optimized PC for your needs.

Richard, thank you very much. Let me explain a bit better. This guy does all the IT work at my office and built us a very high end graphics rig for 3D Architectual rendering(we build very high end Pools). It is much better than this computer but cost me a fortune. I use it for nothing but my business related projects. He, personally, has 4 gaming rigs. This one is the third oldest he owns. He is not building it for me but, originally, built it for himself. He has since built 2 more. This is one of his personal machines and is already built and he is looking to get rid of it as his wife is having a fit at having an entire room filled with 4 gaming stations. I have been looking for a full "turnkey" setup and this one seems to be a better deal than what I have found in my area in over a month of looking. It's coming as is and is already built. He is going to sell the 3rd and 4th oldest ones' he has and keep two. I don't mind dropping some money on it later in the year but I want something at least decent to start with. Being that I'm not having it built what is your opinion? Really, thank you for taking the time to explain everything you did.
Thank you all for the responses. I appreciate it.
I've been looking for a couple mnths and I don't mind upgrading in the near future. I've added up all the components and even at todays prices it seems like a decent deal. I will probably upgrade the procesor and the gpu's by years end. For a starting point I have not found a better deal locally. The guy who built it is a computer nut and I know he is meticulous about his stuff. Thanks for the reponses.
I am buying this on Saturday and wanted to get some feedback as I still have time to cancel the purchase. I am interested in playing the witcher 2, Diablo 3 and finishing Crysis (original and Warhead). I just thought I'd try to get some feedback as this will be my first gaming only rig. Gaming is all I will use this for. I appreciate any responses in advance.

I kinda feel the same way. I have both systems and I really enjoyed my 360 the first part of this gen and my PS3 the second part. I do think Microsoft is in a much better position going into next gen based on the fact that they, allegedly, have made a tremendous amount of money this gen and gained a huge market share. I hope Sony rebounds though as competition is always better for gamers.Who cares about sales. As long as Sony is giving me games that are worthy to play, then I'm good. M$ on the other hand has fallen down in terms of producing "quality" games.

The Wii has literally 4 AAAE games on Metacritic.
FOUR. This entire gen. SMG1, SMG2, Brawl, and Metroid Prime 3.
Yea, I dont think its winning in anything.
StrongDeadlift
Couldn't agree more. I could care less about the Pii. I'll always take my PS360 and never look back. Twins are cooler anyway :)
