My 360 overheats in about 10 min no matter the circumstances but i need some advice. Some of my friends said that i can just try and play it into its death which is RROD so i can just send it back to microsoft but i dont know how long that can take. On the other hand my local game repair said that they will fix it by replacing the motherboard and stuff for $100. Any suggestions.

ok i had a 360 for about a year and it got RROD and they sent me a new one. Ive had the new one for about a year now and it keeps overheating every 10 min. I have the nyko tempsmart intercooler which runs off its own power source and its on my tile floor in my middle room so its not hot. The weird thing is, is that when it supposedly overheats its not even hot. Its in horizontal position now but if i move it in vertical the disk tray wont open. I just need help as to some tkips on how to fix it or if microsoft will repair it for free. Thanks
