Yeah!, i'll tell you what those bastards did to me and my precious collection of games!

I ahd a very interesting collection of games, SNES, GENESIS,MASTER SYSTEM,SEGA CD/32 X and a lot of games for each one... then it happened... i traded them ALL for credit so i could get one of those PS1 that played cd's and played videogames with 3d graphics way better than my 32X could possibly ever could!... so i got their PS1 and then it happened... IT BROKE!!! it wouldn't play games properlly and the FMV's were popping and stuff!!!... when i called SONY they told me to go screw myself Literally!!!

Well i traded that PS1 for a Sega Saturn that i still own today and i learned two things:

1- never trade your games over for anything in the world.

2- hate Sony... well you can't blame me they started everything!

What do you think? 

GOSH DARN IT !!!... that's the spirits... OK you guys win! i'll tell you the truth... I don't hate PS3 owners, i respect everybody... i just hate the way SONY handled a problem i had with the PS1 and since then i have this "vengance" over them...

Well looks like my topic called "PS3 the best option" was locked. I though i had the perfect chance to talk about how great the PS3 is but somehow people misunderstood me!...

Well it's time for me to try again and understand the SUPREMACY of the PS3 in your own words!...

I think people get mad at my sig but if you analise it it's the raw truth BUT this is a PS3 place so we will only dicuss how delightful is to have a PS3 specially now that SONY has promised us so many things to come.

PLEASE, PLEASE understand that i just want to know PEACEFULLY what are your thoughts about the good ol' PS3 that's all.

I own both. I'll number my points so you can choose which one to disagree with.

1. With the Wii, you need to have the sensor bar positioned perfectly. If it's bumped into, your motions register completely differently. There is no sensor bar for the PS3.

2. This is somewhat of a continuation of my first point. In my apartment, I can't sit on my couch and actually use the motion controls. While playing Super Paper Mario, I can't actually point at the screen with any accuracy unless I stand up.

I have no problem standing up to play Wii sports, but having to stand to play Super Paper Mario is just silly.

This is true with any game that involves pointing.

3. Pointing is only estimated on the Wii. I can't point at the screen exactly on what I want to click on. The light gun on my NES was more accurate at aiming where I point.

Granted, the PS3 doesn't have the ability to point, but I'd rather that than everyone pretend they're happy with the Wii providing less accurate controls that advertised.

4. So far I've been talking about the weakness of the Wii's motion controls, but haven't talked about the PS3's.

Currently, the PS3 uses the motion controls like a tasty spice. You play Resistance like your typical game until you're grabbed. You then quickly shake the monster off with your controller. It adds more control. In other cases like Motorstorm, the player has the option to use motion control or standard controls.

The Wii doesn't give you options. It takes what makes a great spice and often serves it as the main dish. Players aren't given the option. Why not let people play Excite Truck with the classic controller? Is Nintendo too afraid that if some people realize prefer the standard controls they'll realize the main selling point of the system was a wash?

Yeah this things you mentioned about the wiimote happens when people are too close to the sensor (you should be at least 3 feet away from the sensor) or haven't noticed there's an option to adjust the wiimote to the sensor.

Both my wiimotes work FLAWLESSLY while playing my games, specially WiiPlay's "Duck Hunt".

even as i say this: 360 is most likely technically more powerful.

i say this: people who use computers, as you've gotten new computers, has windows really gotten any faster?

it doesn't matter if the hard ware is excellent if the software is crap.

just judging from windows to xbox360 os, theyre bothe so friggin slow, no matter how fast the processor is.

an example. my neighbor has an 800 mhhz 17" widescreen imac. with osx.256 megs ram and a 40 gig hard drive

i have a 2.0 ghz dual core amd athalon 64 3800 windows with 2 gigs of ram and a 300 gig hard drive

they both run at about the same speed doing basic stuff.

This guy here is a freaking genius!!!... you should be hired by Gamespot!, this comparison is so reliable! i will not buy one of those Dual Core things!, 800 mhz i-mac is the way to go!...

i'll probably be buying one in the next few weeks. You guys need to break out of this group mentality about bashing the ps3. Give it time and then judge. I love final fantasy, metal gear, god of war, devil may cry, and jak so the ps3 was a logical choice for me to make. And just because im choosing the ps3 does not make me crazy. whodeysay85

I agree actually. It will just have more in common with the Gamecube than the Playstation 2 last generation.

Nintendo made the PERFECT profit machine, that explains the graphics thing... FYI
