@Xristophoros: This sounds like something written by a shill. You are either brainwashed by Sony or you're working for them. Nobody should be this dedicated to a company. All you're doing is hindering healthy competition in the industry with blind loyalty. Sony is not your friend, your ally. And Microsoft is not your enemy. They are both independent companies working for your business. If you just refuse to acknowledge the merits of one, you're acting like a kid. Who am I kidding, you are a kid. It's pointless to try to talk to you because you'll only understand once you've grown up.
@Tekarukite: If it can actually run games at 4K at a decent frame rate, then you're right. But if they are sacrificing the ability to run games smoothly just to achieve 4K, that's the wrong approach.
@Xristophoros: What are you babbling about? A bunch of games that aren't out yet and a game that's basically a movie? Why do you act like a Sony PR rep? What's in it for you to talk up the PS4? Like you use exclusives as something you can throw in the face of anyone who doesn't see the PS4 as a gift from god, even if it's not something you'd even want to play. You need to grow up.
Consoles are pushing for 4K waayy too fast. There aren't even many 4K displays on the market yet that have decent enough input response to game on. Even 4K monitors that are rated at 1 ms latency have a real-time grey-to-grey of like 80+ ms. It will be several years before affordable, reliable, fast 4K displays are available and in the hands of a decent chunk of the market. They should try to just get games running at smooth frame rates at resolutions that people actually have access to.
@zerofrust: That's the only logical reason why these devs would be pushing so hard to get mods on consoles though. They'll just let the idea sit and eventually people will give in.
