@sladakrobot: Yep. I think the COVID outbreak and the electronics shortage even extended their lifespan a year plus. But by 2023 they are sure to be outdated. As for Dragon Age 4, I expect to see it like 2024/2025.
I'm eager to play Wukong! Not only the setting looks amazing, rooted heavily in Chinese folklore, but also the combat is sickening! Really hyped for this.
@justthetip: It's actually scoring a 6.0 on metacritic (user voting), and I remember it being even lower when it first came out. There were a lot of DA fans who were extremely disappointed with Bioware's take on Inquisition. For me, Inquisition was a very bland game in comparison to Origins. They shifted the genre completely, stripping most (if not all) the cRPG elements and investing in a more "action" packed combat. The narrative and quests were also subpar when you look at Origin's.
Meh. I think there is no juice left in Bioware, especially after most of the major directors & developers dropped the boat. Not even the removal of multiplayer is making me excited for this Dragon Age... I'm expecting another crappy action/rpg title, with zero tactical combat and a forgettable story.
YES! From Software is one of the only devs I still get hyped about. I am really eager to see how they will implement all those new features. Looks really promising! One thing though - and that's the graphic whore in me ranting - the texture does look a bit dated, like DS1 stuff, ainit?! Nevertheless, I'm all in for it!
