I did try to buy it on Black Friday, but it was a hot item ($99 from $199), so it was sold out before I could get there. It's sold out most places online too, but Dell still had it. I figured they still weren't sold out because people were scared off by the February shipping thing. Anybody order from Dell online? How long did it take before they shipped it to you?

I ordered a Zune from Dell 2 days ago. Said it wasn't going to ship til February. So I emailed the company, and they said it 'won't take til Feb.', but they didn't say how soon. Does anyone here have any experience with Dell, in terms of ordering smaller things (I imagine computers take a while to ship), how long does it take for them to ship it? Thanks

[QUOTE="opie7885"]I can't resist any longer, there's too many cool features already here, or coming, for the PS3. I need to get it online. The only problem: I currently have dial up... So, my question to all of you is what kind of connections you all have (speed-wise, that is), and if you experience any problems, such as lag, with it. Also, if/when I get a faster connection, I will have to take into account the fact that I'll have to connect to the PS3 via a wireless router, which will go through a few walls. It's either that or run 50 feet of wire to my PS3. Any help or advice anyone can give me would be really appreciated. I would hate to spend the $$$ on faster internet, only to have it really suck for playing the PS3 online. Thanks.acidBURN1942
a 50 foot cat5 cable would not cost you $$$ more like $ they are so ridiculousy cheap just go to Fry's. I suggest this because a hardwire will be faster than Wi-Fi and much more consitent.

Well, I figured a cable would be more reliable, and its not that I have an issue spending money on a cable, its just that I don't want to deal with running, and looking at, a huge cable running throughout my house. Anyone else with the PS3 on a wireless? How does it play?

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=999968400050001&st=GT5426E&type=product&id=pcmprd68300050001 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8208263&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat103700050068&id=1167444938194 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8208398&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat103700050068&id=1167444938326 Okay, I know all of these computers are from bestbuy, and are more expensive than building one yourself. With that said, it's not for me, its for my mom, who for some reason doesn't trust me to build one for her, and I really don't have the time and patience to build it. She'll only be using this computer for word processing, internet, and for now, maybe light gaming. 2 of these have integrated graphics, and one has a 6150 from nvidia, which is better than the other two, but I'm not sure by how much. This, however, may not stop me from comandeering said computer at a future date and try to play Age of Empires III or something. They all have a PCI E x16 slot open, so I don't believe there will be a problem updating the video card...am I correct in assuming this? Also, price is somewhat of a factor. The 700$ has a 4300 Core duo intel, and the 930$ has a 6300, which seems to be a better processor, but by how much? The same goes for the 900$ with the AMD 5000. Is this worse than the 6300? If so, by how much? The 900$ AMD processor seems to be the frontrunner, as it comes with a monitor and a printer, of which she has both, so we'll see how much the price drops if we can get just the computer without the monitor and printer. So, after seeing the situation, what would you recommend? Thanks in advance for your advice.

I have a question about this TV: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7601491&ref=39&loc=01&st=insignia+27"&type=product&id=1130981881933 Let's just say hypothetically I can get my mits on a PS3, maybe a leprachaun riding a unicorn will ride down on a rainbow and just had one to me (cause that's my best chance at this point). But will that TV produce HD images? I heard somewhere that the TV has to be longer than it is taller, in more of a rectangle shape, than a square. Otherwise, if youre playing something in HD, it comes up as looking stretched out. So, will this TV work with HD? Thanks for any help
