Original Xbox Dead?

I'm sure we've all heard it numerous times, "The original Xbox is dead" or "Why is the original Xbox dead?".  I've also noticed that there seems to be a lot of confusion as to what being "dead" actually means.  To some it means they no longer play it or it's not cool anymore.  To others it means it's "dead" because it has simply stopped functioning.  But what does it really mean?

It's actually quite simple.  Microsoft has stopped producing original Xboxes obviously because of the release of the Xbox 360.  That's it.  It's "dead" because production of the original Xbox has ceased.  You won't see any new big releases (just a few sports games like Madden 08, NCAA Football 08 and FIFA 08 ) nor will you see any new accessories.

So, to make things easier, the general public uses "dead" to sum up the fact that Microsoft has stopped the production of original Xboxes.

About my gamertag

No one seems to have a clue how to pronounce my gamertag and much less know what it means.  So, let me try to clear things up.

Pronounciation
orinjharez is actually 2 words: orange (orinj) and hares (harez).  The 'harez' part is pronounced like hairs, not ha rez.

Defenition
orinjharez does not mean "orange rabbits" as it may suggest (hare = rabbit).  What the name is referring to is actually the little orange hairs found on most crippy (marijuana) buds.

The idea was to incorporate cannibus into the gamertag name in a unique fashion.  In other words, trying not to use the ordinary words or terms such as: weed, bud, 420, green, dime bag, mary j., toker, kronik, etc.  Hence, orange hairs - or more uniquely "orinjharez" - was created.
