This makes it the first game to be scored 9.5 this year. What is surprising is that it is not a console but a handheld.

It would be interesting to see a handheld score a 10 on GameSpot, as that has never happened (even though Super Mario Bros. Deluxe came close with 9.9 several years back).

If the Wii-mote controls are so great and "different," then why did Nintendo decide to allow people to use Gamecube controllers in Brawl?

It was not Nintendo's decision, it was Masahiro Sakurai's decision.

Was Nintendo concerned that if its games appear on the CD, the games and the discs that are copied into them will be owned by Sony? Also, was Nintendo concerned about the loading times of CDs which are slower than the more-expensive cartridges?

Only during the video game crash of 1983, but that applies only in the United States, as other regions were not affected. The "crash" did not affect gaming worldwide as many seem to think. Europe and Japan was not affected (Nintendo's Famicom was selling during that period), so do PC gaming which was in its early years.

[QUOTE="GodofEmpires"] Nintendo=I can't find it.

28,730 yen (US$293.25). Compared to Microsoft's and Sony's, Nintendo's stock price is high.

[QUOTE="haris12121212"]

Don't even bother with a price drop for a Nintendo made console game... It's impossible...

Actuality the Wii may go up in price http://www.gamespot.com/news/6205888.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=morenews&tag=morenews;title;12

This applies only in the U.K. This is due to the depreciation of the British pound, and has nothing to due with demand or supply. Issues on currency is a reason why I think a universial currency is needed, as a global economy does not need many currencies.
