the thing is, this is my 3rd ps3 and im gonna by mighty pissed if i have to send it back considering i just got a replacement under a week ago.
i cleaned the disc now, and if it happens again, sony is getting a call.
first ps3 got disc read error, 2nd just died with cod5 inside and if this breaks.......
well i got a new 80gb about a 3-4 days ago after i gave 60gb back to sony.
while playing games(discs), i think the disc sometimes gets stuck. the ps3 makes a funny noise. a noise kind of like its trying to spin the disc but its getting stuck on something, and if im on a load screen, the game freezes until the ps3 fixes itself.
its kind of sounds like the ps3 is stopping and starting reading the disc again and again
Its happened a few times now.
i didnt happen on my old 60gb, or i think so anyway.
yeh, im getting an 80gb on friday, i dont think u fill a form in, u just sign for it.
u gota call sony up and make sure u tell em so once they find a disc, they will send 2 u
im getting a new 80gb ps3 on the 5th of december (1 week) and im 6 months out of warrenty. and i hope i wont get 60gb probs.owais121292
no cod5 for up to 6 months tho
cod4>cod5.
better guns, better maps, less lag, less glitches, less freezeing, less connection problems and the list goes on
[QUOTE="lolwotrickroll"][QUOTE="supa_badman"]maybe if you people put the damn machine on standby like your supposed to...supa_badmanyou mean leave the red light on? i always flip the switch in the back, is that bad :( it'd be nice to know if im doin harm to my babay its ok if you put on standby then switch it off at the back. but if you turn it off directly if your not travelling with it is a bad idea.
i use to do that, and now it broke.
anyway, i meant sony calls centre is closed and ima try to call em up tomorrow and get an 80gb instead of 60gb as it seems they have more problems. :(
