Ahhh, E3 has dumbed-down and we are now prepping our wallets for the vast influx of games to be released in the coming months. Some will rise, some will fall. Who will do what? Here is my call. Rhyme not intentional.
(BTW, unless otherwise noted, take all games as X360 OR PS3)
The Amazing Spider-man:6.5/10, brings back the old Spidey formula, just doesn't hit the nail on the head with gameplay and graphics.
Sleeping Dogs:8/10, The transition of the game from Activision to Square Enix brought numerous bugs, but gameplay and a deep story make up for it. Low-class cutscenes.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 (3DS): 8.5/10: Still the lovable formula, but the introduction of coins can become tedious, as well as hopes to leave the 2D Mario landscape behind for a while.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2:6/10: Just can't do much at all, but Sniping is still a blast.
Far Cry 3:9/10: Sandbox editor and lack of bugs improve this game over it's predecessor.
Borderlands 2:9/10: Simply, improves everything over the original, but varies little in gameplay.
Fable: The Journey:4/10: Absolute rubbish... the dying cries of a once great franchise
Medal of Honor: Warfighter: 8/10:Multiplayer still doesn't knock of Call of Duty, but an improvement in Single Player
Assassins Creed III:9/10:New location, amazing graphics and an epic finale.
Halo 4:9/10:Story is still strong.. but 3 years isn't enough to take the franchise in a new direction.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II:8/10:Gameplay is still the same and a respectable leap into the future, but poor graphics make it seem rushed
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two:7/10: What it can do on the Wii, it cannot on consoles.
Hitman: Absolution:9.5/10:From the sound to the graphics.. this game is simply sublime.
Paper Mario: Sticker Star:8/10:Gameplay and Presentation are amazing, but the 3D does little.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted: 9/10:Burnout Paradise 2 is what they wanted.. and, to some extent, what they got.
nb: these are all my opinions, some of these series I have only played a few times, take this all as a grain of salt.
