[QUOTE="p90reloaded"]The problem was not the card; it is quite capable of handling both CoD4 and RA3 at maximum quality. What the issue was, was that upon disconnecting the power chord from the lap top, the hybrid graphics feature is automatically disabled, thus resulting in virtually no graphics card. However, simply by going to the boot menu, one can re-enable this feature, which brings everything back top-notch. I hope this information helps anyone else who may have or will have this issue.DanielDustRA 3...not so much, not even close, but glad it works now. Actually easily RA3 at maximum No lag at all; not even while spamming vacuum imploders. Giggity.

Hi, I recently purchased a new laptop, however when attemping to play any game, there is an incredible amount of lag even while offline, and even on minimal settings. Now I have contacted support, and they claim that it may be a program running in the background, and to clean boot and test which programs, etc. However, I wanted to know what the community thinks. Below are my specs:
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit(32 Sim Mode)
Intel Core 2 Extreme CPU Q9300 @ 2.53 GHZ
Nvida GeForce 9400M G
8 Gigs of RAM
While I am aware that my card isn't exactly top notch, it has more than enough power to support the top settings for games such as Red Alert 3, or Call of Duty 4. I had the same card on a previous computer and it worked perfectly. What's amusing is, just to be an idiot, I went to see just how bad whatever is causing this lag is; it won't even let me play Star Trek - Armada without lag. :P
