NO this game is a fraud and a scam! Not only that, I can prove it.

1 in 3 retail box will not launch because of a major bug. NCsoft has no clue how to fix it. I bought the game and was never able to play it because of the problem of not able to create an account and not able to verify the retail box.

I can post lots of Tech support reponses but the end result is that there are lots of people as in hundreds to thousands who spent between $50 and $65 and got taken because they could not even play the game. I am one of those. I have talked with dozens of others who had the same experience. Those that had beta already installed and already had accounts have less of a problem to no problem. I had an account in Eve but could not get the games' code verified. I could not get the game to work in WoW and Steam.

So to put it mildly, This game is a scam and a fraud! THe original poster got it right although through sheer luck and perhaps forethought into what he was seeing in the game forums and help areas about the problems that are getting exponetually out of hand with TR

Don't bother buying this game its just not worth it. Those who got in the beta have fewer problems. Those that bought the retail box have a 1 in 3 chance of the game not even launching to be able to play the game. Problem being in the creation of the master account and then the problem of the 20 digit code not being accepted.

After trying for a month and working with NCSoft tech support, they simply said they could not solve the problem and said sorry your just out of luck and they were not going to try to fix it. Thus I have bought a game that I could never play.

Never mind about MMO experience. Generally, you either love it or hate it. Me, I hate MMO. The problem is that MMO have limited issues which makes the game get boring fast. In the end, you just do not fill the thrill of the game like it was new.

Thus now I make sure that I get games that have a single player section because honestly, great games will always be great and its always nice to play by oneself to improve skills. Think of all the great games like Halo 1, HalfLife 2, Cysis and Call of Duty 2 and 4 are ones that come to mind quickly.

But honestly, TR is not worth the chance to buy only to find out that you can not play the game.

I bought the game but never could create the master account to even play the darn game. Tech support stated that there are problems where 1 in 3 people just can not access the server. Since my game is one of those, it will not help you.

Don't bother buying this game. 1 in 3 people can not even play it even though they have the right hardware.

The problem is that NCSoft has a problem in their server where it will not allow some people to create accounts. Even if its done manually the server will not accept it. Thus there are thousands of people out there who waisted $50 to $70 on a game they can not even play.
