I've been a member of GAMESPOT for a little while now, and I can't help but see so many console wars. Honestly, in my opinion, it's pretty dumb. First of all, why would you talk so bad about a system when you know so well that if someone gave one to you, you'd probably be playing it for hours. For instance, let's take the next gen systesm (PS3, XBOX360 and Wii), each game has it's ups and downs. Some games can be played on all platforms, but some can't. Now, you tell me who wouldn't love to get their hands on all three of those systems and not have to worry about "my system doesn't have that game". I know I would! Anyone telling me they wouldn't I would either have to say that they're lying or maybe they have a little too much pride. Let it go.

Second, I've heard some PS3 people saying that the only reason XBOX360 has sold more was becuase it was out first and had no competition. Now, since when is it a crime to be ahead of everyone else? Is it Microsoft's fault that SONY was taking a little longer? And just before the MS people get too happy, it's not always best to try and rush out your system before everyone else. I mean, I can't tell you how many people I saw bringing back systems everytime I went to my local GAMESTOP.

I am a PS3 owner. I proud PS3 owner. But don't think that I am not looking to get my hands on a PS3 or an XBOX360 or a Wii. And to be honest, we have the PS3 people fighting with the XBOX360 people all the time. And in my opinion, the Wii is kicking everyone's butt. You want proof? Look online to try and shop for all 3 systems. Go to your local electronic stores or video game stores and try to see which systems are in stock. I can pretty much tell you that right now, it's hard to find a Wii.

I guess this is all my opinion anyway. And if people want to have console wars, then that's fine, I'll just avoid them. But don't bring the console wars into topics that have nothing to do with that. I hate it when that happens. Someone can be talking about making a pound cake, and here comes someone, "you know, if our video games could make pound cakes, i bet the 360 could make it better, cause it would do it at 60fps." Shut up! I'm out.
