Well...

This weekend has been interesting. I took the MENSA home test. I'm sure I did crappilly on the first half as I didn't understand the instructions until time had pretty much passed. The second section flew by and I'd be surprised if I didn't get every question right. The test is not binding though, so I guess its only useful as a diagnostic and to show me what to expect on the real exam. In the meantime I am in the International High IQ Society so that's ok by me.

I went to look for cars and found a great Audi A4. It's within my budget, but the car had a dent in it and the guy refused to admit it had been in an accident even after I pointed the dent to him. If he had just said. Yeah, it's been hit, but it was so minor it was never claimed on the insurance and has a clean facts sheet, I may have bought the car. Instead he insisted that it had a clean facts sheet and that it had never been hit. He turned all mumbling when I pointed out the dent. It was rather discrete, so I didn't notice it at first and I'm sure the guy was trying to hide it. That put me off. I might still consider the car, but I'll keep looking for now.

I took a diagnostic CFA and scored 45%. Yup folks, if the exam were held today I would fail it...miserably. For those of you that don't know, the CFA is the Chartered Financial Analyst. You have to pass three 6 hour exams, find a sponsor, and have 3 years financial work experience. I am on level one so I don't think I'll be getting the charter anytime soon. I forgot my stuff at home today as well and was already running late so I couldn't get it. So I'll fall further behind. I need another 2 months to prepare for it and I have 1. It'll be a squeeze. There's so much information.

Red Sox are up in the World Series. People are extatic here. So far its been a great year for Boston Sports. First the Patriots and now the Sox. Patriots are kicking ass again as well so things look good.

Will West is not coming to visit. That does not disturb nor surprise me. I haven't spoken to the guy since well before homecoming and then only once in the past few months. I appreciate how busy people get and its not like my life has been uneventful either. Nevertheless, I still plan on destroying his Blog. I'll be doing it for the Biebl.

After much deliberation, I have decided not to take the MENSA test. For those of you that don't know, Mensa is an organization of the top 2% of smartest people in the world. Although I did very well on their online Mensa workout, I discovered that the test is a one-shot deal and if I took it on a bad day, I'd never have another chance to take it. That quite frankly doesn't work well with me, since, unlike what they believe, this is the kind of test you can prepare for. Why do I want to be in the society? Well, who doesn't want the satisfaction of being in the top 2% of the population. I mean, I don't need other people to tell me I'm smart, but it sure helps!
