Burnout paradise is a most excellent game. Its one of those games that I'll be hanging onto and not trading in. Good game for blowing off some steam.

The story should be in depth, which appeals to me a lot. The asymetric fighting with Nectar sounds like it should at least be interesting, and since I've liked all of Free Radicals past games, there's no reason for me to believe I won't like this one.

so spend your money on different fps's instead of buying one fps and then something entirely different.. :)~

Point taken, but I know that being a fps fan, which he also appears to be, I have more than 1 fps game. Just because you have one good one, doesn't mean there's no need to try other things. I'm just saying that its a bit narrow minded. Plus Unreal and Timesplitters are two games with very different flavors, I can appreciate both for what they are and enjoy the different aspects they bring to the table.

Oh, I see, you've found the best shooter ever, so there's no reason to buy any otherFPS, right? That's F-ed up logic. Variety is the spice of life my friend.
