The only positive change I see is that there is no longer any de facto censorship of unpopular opinions. Every single other feature ranges from being slighly lesser, to being significantly worse. Not to mention scrolling down a few hundred posts takes forever and forces any browser I've used to eat RAM like none other.

I see no point to Livefyre. It's really quite awful.

Seeing its no different than the Xbox 360 verison with a bit better graphics, it is nearly worthless to review the PC version.Wasdie
I thought when multiple versions were Identical, a single review was posted for them all...?

Does GS not review multiplatform games on PC now? I mean, DR's largest audience is PC users (by a significant margin), it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I figured circumstances I'm not aware of just had that task bumped down a little, but it's been a month now... Has GS decided something I didn't hear about, or does this just amount to me nerd raging about GS's favoritism?

Good. I can stand the noise (I only really noticed it since I had the case open).

I just got a Radeon HD 4890, but whenever it's even just barely stressed, it makes a terrible whining sound. I know it's not the fan (took a careful look at that), and have come to the conclusion that it's just a funky capacitor. Unfortunately that's about where my knowledge on the matter stops. So, anyone have any idea whether that's even close to right? And if it is, you think it's going to be a problem beyond an irritating noise?

The way I see it, Natal only really works for non-gaming stuff (like the facial recognition/login stuff). But Sony's motion thing (what was it called?) is ALOT more accurate from what I could tell and has the necessary tactile association to be an actual controller. Sony's [thing] could easily be a dedicated controller for RTSs on the PS3, now THAT's what I call revolutionary (but still no large scale controller replacement).

So I sent my 360 in for repair for the second time on the 14th, and it took 3 days to get to MS (not bad), it then took MS 3 hours to do whatever they did, and I was thinking it was a great thing, I had never seen a repair go so fast. But then UPS stepped in. First, they just didn't do anything with the package for a few days (thoug, they had recieved it). Then they decided to schedule the delivery for ELEVEN days after they recieved it (on 3 day ground). So it's been sitting in an in-state sorting facility for days now, doing nothing. And according to them, it left the facility, but returned a half hour later for no apparent reason. And to top it off, they've repeatedly taken down all tracking information, temporarily showing NO activity what-so-ever. Then when the info came back up, it said (erroneously) that it had been delivered, but not to an address, just to my city in general, and from some sender that had nothing to do with MS or myself. Eventually the tracking info was fixed and it revealed my package's location: THE SAME sorting facility its been in for a whole FIVE DAYS now (I assume waiting for it's poorly scheduled delivery date), and it just so happens this facility is a few hours away from where I live. BUT, I am only allowed to intercept it at specific locations, and this lame sorting facility isn't one of them. But the strangest part about all of this is that UPS only does this to me when shipping for MS. Has anyone had similar troubles, or are they just out to get me? Or am I just used to consistently decent service (eg, FedEx)?

I use Kaspersky, so I figured it really wouln't be worth worrying about. Unfortunately, this problem seems to be intermittent, and right now there aren't any examples I can find. Guess I'll just have to wait. Thanks anyway.
