I have a Nvidia 7900GS with PCI express X16. Can I plug it into a Gigabyte motherboard that has a PCI express 2.0 slot? Or does it HAS to be plugged into a PCI Express 1.0 x16?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834117724&cm_sp=DailyDeal-_-34-117-724-_-Product I was really excited about this really nice budget Laptop but some guy at Newegg wrote a review saying that it was impossible to downgrade it to Windows XP. I dont think its impossible, but maybe there is a security measure. Any one has any ideas?

I'm trying to run Call of Duty 4 on my new laptop with Vista. But when the game is about to start it says that I need Directx9.0c. I thought that Directx10 ha backward compatiblity with DirectX 9 games. Anyone knows anything? I have a Core2 2.6ghz, 2gbRAM, 8600GT
I don't know if you have seen the concept for the PS3 game Little Big Planet, but I found this video: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/150826.html?playlist=featured Anyone knows what program are they using, or is there any game that gives that kind of interactivity on PC??
I wanted to buy a Nvidia 8800GT GPU when they come on stock again, but the specs say that it has a PCI Express 2.0. As far as I know my mobo only has a PCI Express x16 v1.. Do I need to buy a mobo with PCI Express 2.0 or can I use the one I have? Oh and Merry Hanukwanzmas
