I would only buy a GoD if the games were cheaper by like $10 or more dollars. I mean if i went out and bought Mass Effect on disk then i could take it to gamestop or some other used game store and sell it for like $6 (or some other ripoff price) and then it is cheaper already then GoD.... Really i would just much rather own the game disc, case, and manual because they just seem more valuable. They have the ability to resell. If i sell my system i can still have them (even thought i wouldn't keep them) and the fact that i would rather not give $20 to Microsoft, but rather to places like Newegg.com or Amazon.com.
Plus Amazon.com gives me a good chuckle with some of their prices. Need for Speed Most Wanted is $64.... so great. Of course i know a game doesn't actually cost that much so i don't buy them, but it still makes me laugh.

Of course when you made this post you didn't think about anything other people than americans. I mean the nearest shop from my house is about 10 miles away and on my country there isn't anything like amazon.com so for me GoD is pretty good, i can just buy those games from my couch for a reasonable price.
