the monthly fee is for the more serious player, if you want to be 'competitive' then to be better you obviously can't just play casually. Of course, if you're playing mmo's for competitiveness, you're in the wrong gaming genre, its called a fps.

I plan on getting EQ2, but first I would like to know which expansions are worth buying, if any. If there is one, I'd like one with some PvP content. Also, I was looking on ebgames.com today, and was curious as to what EQ 2 classic was all about. It's 10 bucks, but is it the same game? Thanks for all your helpful input.
[QUOTE="lokstah"]Is there a "good" MMORPG? I don't know, guys. I'm not sure there's really one available. Not yet.-Unreal-
Yeah, there's no good MMOs out yet....
Where do you people come from?
Fanboi plz we don't need ur excessive WoW-plugging, they don't pay you to do that.
what about a mmorpg to play right now? i'm freaking bored of GW :(d4BiDDEN
Actually Everquest 2 is a great alternative to GW. Graphics aren't cheesey cartoon-like like um....hrm. Its only 10 a month if I remember correctly, and since its not really "popular", its not jam-packed with stupid children who don't really know what they're doing.
