I can't understand how those news hounds thought this could make any sense! Why would that idiot father go to complain about Portal 2 to a news station? If he doesn't want his daughter to think there's anything wrong with being adopted, why would he get his family involved in a news story that centers on the fact that she's adopted? If he wanted to resove the issue, he should have either not said anything or just talked to her. And for God's sake there were several adoption jokes before this one in Portal 2. And these news hounds just spoiled a big part of the game for the people who haven't played it yet.

And furthermore, they cut a HUGE section of that video, right after that "fatty-fatty" bit, GLaDOS says "What's wrong with being adopted?" These jokes are intended to be humorous, they're coming from a sociopathic AI who hates you and wants to kill you, and a complete moronic AI who's trying to insult you, and fails! VALVe worked on this game for 3 1/2 years, I'm not just going to sit here and let those idiots criticize it. They said that they contacted Sony FIRST, and then VALVe, saying that Sony "passed the buck onto somebody else." IT'S VALVe's GAME, DEAR GOD!!! It CLEARLY says VALVe on the front of the box!

That story got everything WRONG! They said that Portal 2 was an "educational game". that you had to "figure out how to get out of a room," their words! They said that "E10+" was not "E for everyone", like there's really that much of a difference! Those crackpots have never picked up controller in their life. HOW can they speak for us, WE, who spent years loyal to VALVe waiting for the next release? What about "Little Orphan Annie" in that show, that girl was taunted and bullyed constantly about being adopted, NO ONE ever complained about that! Like one little joke, among hundreds of other hilarious jokes, could possibly reflect an entire game, a game mind you, that could never be described as insulting!

I will post this same comment EVERYWHERE I can. This allegation will not go unanswered.
