Obama was at my school today!! There was the usual..people selling T-shirts...people protesting...helicopters hoovering over the school...lots of cops on motorcycles...press.

Craziness!!! I tried to see what was going on but i didn't have a ticket and there were soo many people around. Oh well..lol

Seriously, I know it's hurricane season but com'on. 4 storms in 2 weeks is just insane. Hurricane (now tropical storm) Gustav, Tropical Storm Hanna, Tropical Storm Ike and now Tropical Storm Josephine. Hanna is going to hit the east coast. Of course, where that will be who knows. Florida is in the cone of possibility, just great. Ike is coming up close behind Hanna too. I guess after a couple of years of relatively peaceful hurricane seasons, an active one was bound to come. Now we play the waiting game. Will Hanna hit Florida directly? Or will it more more eastward and miss us? *sigh* I guess it's the price of living in the Sunshine State.:(

So I finally saw the end of Death Note. I'd been watching since the beginning but stopped sometime after Cartoon Network changed the time slot. And just in case some people haven't seen the ending...I'll put my comments in a spoiler..

[spoiler] The way Light died was so dramatic. The music and all the flashbacks really built up the moment. It was sad when he was running wounded past a vision of his former (pre-death note) self. When he was lying on the staircase, His eyes were different..they were sad maybe fearful..regretful? When the credits started rolling I thought that that was it. He died with his eyes open but then L showed up, well a figment of Light's imagination. What a way to die. What goes around, comes around I guess. Light's death wasn't as sad as L's death. I actually teared up when L was dying. [/spoiler]

Oh and I went up a level..Autobot?..whoohoo! 2,000 posts is my next goal. Might take me a while though..considering some idiot spends his/her time reporting people left and right. Well..that is all

Trying to park on the side of the road (in the grass), I pulled in but almost hit the stop sign soo....instead of hitting the brake..I accidentally hit the gas instead. Not cool. Lol. Whoops! Good thing there weren't any pedestrians...or cops for that matter or else..well..yah.
