the cable connects to the controller and the console, and it makes the controller wired until your batteries are full enough to be played without the cord. The Question? do i need to buy a special battery packseparatelyor get energizerrechargeablebatteries or what? also, is the light on the controller plug-in side supposed to light up when batteries are being charged?

i say that the psp is a great gaming system and mp3 player. it holds enough music for me with a measly 2 gig memory card. i have a little nintendo ds backpack thingamajig that i use for a psp holder. when i go biking etc. i use that to hold the psp on my back so you can barely feel it. besides, ipods are over rated.
