I was *about* 7 or 8. We had a box Nintendo (original nintendo) but I didn't really get it. My brother was so young that he sucked on the end of the duckhunt gun and wrecked it. He must've been 3 or 4 LOL ahh memories. Like someone else in here, the first system I saved up and bought for myself was PlayStation. I bought it so I could play FFVII. The graphics blew my 12 year old mind. It was sweet! ... I look back now and Cloud's graphics hurt my eyes. So blocky and awkward!!
You're so right, Castle Crashers is amazing and cheap. its late, I'm not thinking so well. I totally agree w/ your recommendations! Left 4 Dead is also really fun, but I finished it awhile ago. Ghost Recon and Borderlands are the two I'm still playing.
I'm a girl gamer! But I'm also a picky girl gamer. I refuse to play w/ guys who only want to talk dirty/hit on me. I've deleted lots of dudes from my friends list for being creepers. I hated it. Controls were awkward and I found myself jumpy having things come running out of nowhere. And I don't consider myself that jumpy of a player considering I got through Dead Rising, Left 4 Dead and Fallout 3... where stuff comes out of nowhere all the time! Since its not a priority I'd say wait a bit longer. The price will come down more. Also, have you tried looking around for a used copy? Its not worth buying new.
It depends on what you're looking for. The two I play frequently with my brother and Borderlands (shooter/rpg) and Ghost Recon (shooter). BUT, I don't like/play sports games or racing games, so I'm biased!
