Tough call, but I'm going to say Gears 1 just because it introduced us to the planet, characters and started the whole thing. Pacing was bad in both games, but nothing beats the feeling when you chainsawed your first guy.
Yeah, I haven't been pumped up about this game, regardless. However, given that their the last franchise to leave WW2 then it'll be a while before they can manage a CoD-esque game.
I have beateb the game already and almost done with my second time. Love the MP and the Campaign answers everything there is to answer. I wouldn't buy the Legendary but it is a 10 in my book. MC is the greatest hero ever in a game, Marcus Fenix is his only rival.
