whats the deal w/ the hotseat campaign? medieval 2 is the main game i'm interested in, no one else i know has empire

Are there any total war games that i can play the campaign with in multiplayer? I'd love to play medieval 2, but it doesnt allow me.

how do i set it up though?  it needs to run my item -> wireless router -> wireless router -> cable modem

I have two linksys wrt54gs routers that i'd like to hook up.  I want to put one in my living room so i can hook up all my wired gear out there to the internet/my network.

I'd like xbl to be free. 12/mo or whatever isnt bad, but i'm paying so many different monthly fees i feel like im getting nickel and dimed to death! If i'm paying i should get things... maybe take ads out, or lower the price of crappy old games i can dl.

Someone told me the guitar hero 3 guitar will work on rock band 2... any truth to this? It'd be nice to finally get my 2nd guitar for rock band AND score guitar hero 3 at the same time... this will also knock the whole 'cant kill 2 birds w/ one stone' theory completely out of the water.

Then what does this say about Vista? The OS is bad, yes, but Intel not upgrading because there isn't any reason to isn't why Vista is bad.

if all their programs run on xp and it costs a lot of money to upgrade to run vista, then there is no real reason to run vista. right?
