@genjuroT I would have to say that the marketing itself was too much rehash of the same locals. Nothing is ever that simple. To keep posting similar screenshot locations and concept art proves a lack of depth. Whenever I'm looking at previews, trailers, etc., I'm focused on the mysteries and depth they suggest that is not explicit in the text or imagery. Destiny seemed far to vague and limited for it's own good. I've been expecting an underwhelming experience for a long time. It's also easy to expect a great experience when journalists are genuinely excited and can't wait to tell you about their latest sit down with the game. Most articles were more of an informative nature and not as passionate as they should have been if the game was truly great.
@Metallicwolf29 I'm not promising an earth shattering experience for every player, but I can promise that It will review well. I won't worry about being careful, I only make statements about things of which I am sure. Feel free to call me out if the Wild Hunt doesn't live up in 5 months, I don't mind.
@Metallicwolf29 I'll buy it again. And I'm not saying you should buy a PS4 just for the Last of Us. I doubt anyone buys a console and only ever plays one game on it. If you're playing video games in 2014 and plan on playing in 2015 and beyond, you might as well get a PS4 so you don't waste your time playing inferior versions on a 360 or PS3 since you're going to eventually need to get a PS4 or X1 anyway. Might as well have the best experience possible, even if you're just renting.
@Metallicwolf29 Not a chance. When a game is coming, its fairly clear how it will be received by the preview content released. I've been worried about Destiny this entire year. It appeared lacking in every new reveal. The Witcher 3 continues to exceed everything about the original games. That's the difference between co-developing for an old and dead generation and thinking that mass appeal means void of any and all intelligence / trying to be cute vs. actually developing for a specific audience on a specific scale of hardware. Hype means nothing. The Witcher won't generate half the sales of Destiny, but it will generate 10 times the praise
@elementonly08 @MrMojoRisin70 @eIementonIy08 @randomkidlol Place your cursor over the name of the imposter and you'll see they have a capital i where the L is supposed to be.
@Blazen702 @phantom_11 Shadow Fall, Second Son and possibly the Order 1886 if you must know, and don't be a jackass. Like what you want, but don't come on to my post and tell me what I like isn't good enough for you.
