I've started and tried to play the KOTOR's multiple times because of all the great things so many people have said about it. It must be just me but I cannot get into them... I couldn't get into the Baulder's gate series either. I played more of Neverwinter Nights but still couldn't finish it. The only game I really enjoyed in this vein was Planescape: Torment (and the Fallout series if that counts). Maybe I just don't like the party based systems of these games but like to go it alone? Just my two cents.

If there is a PC version released I'm in! Anyone know what the average time has been for the PC version to be released after the original console version is released?

Seems to me that all three consoles tend to lean towards a certain genre or source of games. Granted this is becoming less so as more games are released for each system. I could be wrong here, but here's my take/opinion: Xbox-> Library consists of mostly western games (US/Canada) - Genres are heavy in action/FPS (Very little in the way of RPGs, relatively) PS3-> Library constists of International games (East and West) - Genres include many more RPGs and strategy titles, relatively. Wii-> Library consists of mostly Eastern games (Japan) - Genres are heavy in mulitplayer/family/platformers/Puzzle/motion gimmick (Very little in the way of blockbuster action/FPS titles, relatively) Note the keyword RELATIVELY. Of course they all have some of all genres. I personally enjoy each of the systems for their specific "genre mastery". In fact, if a game is multiplatform, I'll get it for the system that is known/good for that genre, but I definitely tend to lean towards the PS3 because I prefer its controller to the others (and I have a rateup for the PS3 for FPS games)

I can't play them at all i'm an absolute wimp. I once played the GCube remake of resi, jumped and instinctively hit the off button...I hadn't saved in a while :-( Rammstein_1986
Ha! I'm sorta in the same boat. I don't scare too easily but I do get that ugly sick feeling which makes it hard to sleep (or do much of anything) after playing. I get the same thing with twisted movies. Hard to describe. I made it through FEAR, System Shock 2 and a couple of the Resident Evils. Didn't make it through DOOM 3. Kinda sucks that most Sci-Fi fits into the horror genre. (I really liked Event Horizon, but I won't let myself watch it again.) I pretty much avoid the horror/terror genre in games unless its a real smash hit. I've been playing the latest Resident Evil 5... Is it me or is this RE not scary at all?

The last two games I played on the 360 were Gears of War 2 (Soooo much fun multiplayer!) and Fable 2 (which I'm blaming for causing red ring of death). I still haven't played through Fable 2 but my 360 has been collecting dust for a long time (except for the occasional Cyberball match). Someone give me a game to keep it useful! I'm starting to feel guilty about it sitting in the corner for so long. Anything really cool coming up that's going to be 360 exclusive? (I own PS3 and Wii and play PC games too.) Seems like my Wii, PS3 and PC are getting a lot of love lately. Especially with Rune Factory, Shiren, the upcoming Final Fantasy, CoD:MW2, Torchlight, Dragon Age, Borderlands (ps3), Mass Effect 2 (PC) etc. etc. Where are the good Xbox 360 exclusives? What am I missing? Anyone else have this problem?

I want to see this in a poll... My vote is Wii. Probably this order from best to worst (Just mainstream consoles) 1) SNES (Uniracers, Secret of Mana, Super Metroid, Zelda, Super Mario, etc. TONS) 2) NES (River City Ransom, Rygar, Metroid, Zelda, Kid Icarus, Mario, etc. etc. etc. TONS) 3) GC (Gladius, Resident Evil(s), Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Party (hahah), Monkey Ball) - Tied with N64 3) N64 (Mario 64, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Kart, WaveRace, Goldeneye) - Tied with GC 5) WII (TBD) (I personally like dokapon, MLB Power Pros, Boom Blox, Warioware, Rune Factory and others) It was a close call with GC and N64. I couldn't pick between them. Every time I'd lean one way, I'd think of something else about the other system I liked. It's close between the NES and SNES for me too. SOOO many good games on the NES.

Its amazing to me how much crap they stuff into a game that is technically so basic. I LOVE the Disgaea series. How would you ever know how to do anything advanced without a strategy guide? (or those crazy gamefaqs guys!) I couldn't even begin to find the time to try to figure some of that stuff out.

As far as aiming tech and biotics, I've been aiming the crosshairs at the target, THEN hit the action/pause key. That target is then selected as current for any biotic/tech powers you use while paused.

I don't think I've ever used a mouse pad let alone one with a wrist pad. I prefer using just the desk. Especially playing FPS, my mouse is all over the place. Wrist never gets tired. OK maybe I used one or two at summer jobs back in the day when the desk was for general use.
