[QUOTE="enygma50

Component RGB----------tv input ch 1/2/3

AV audio-------------------tv input ch 1/2/3(make sure it matches the video input)

that will get you picture and audio on the same channel

That makes sense but can you explain in numpty language how to carry out the last 2 lines of how to sort it please

i will try and get a photo up but for now i can explain it, on the tvs left hand side on the back there are audio plugs labled r and l with audio wriiten beneath (where i'm plugging the cable that came with the ps3 in, into the same colours red to red and white to white. Then there is 3 component plugs, by plugs i mean a hole that you can plug a single pin thing in, labled component and pr pb and y, followed by a s video socket

Hi

Have just bought my first ps3 and have set it up to my LG RZ26LZ55 tv with a HDMI DVI cable, for the video stream, and am using the ps3 supplied cable for the sound.

But there isnt any sound, is anybody able to tell me what I am doing wrong PLEASE !

I have set the sound settings in the ps3 menu to the appropriate feeds, and I have plugged just the red and white plugs into the tv and not the yellow. And i've spent ages looking for the answer online, could anybody shed any light please, thankyou

Phil
