No More Heroes is supposed to be good. And this belongs in the recommendation sticky.Master_Saibot
I don't want any recommendations for what to get out of what's available in the event that I pick up a Wii, because I already know what games I want to pick up, having browsed Metacritic and heard about the really big releases. I just want to know what the big games in the future are. You can't really recommend games that haven't been released yet.
Hey guys,
Just had my 360 RROD on me after having it since about June '06... I really thought I was home free, guess not. Anyway, my options now are either to send it in or pick up a new 360. The thing is that I really don't want to get shafted with an old 360. The one that just RROD'd on me, while a great system, was almost intolerably loud. I'd almost rather pick up a new, Falcon-equipped 360 with better cooling and a quieter drive than risk getting caught with an old refurbished hunk of junk that I'm just going to have to send back in in a few weeks. I already have a hard drive, HD cables, and two controllers, so I could pick up a Falcon arcade and just strap my hard drive in and have it be the same as a new, Falcon premium, or I could send my 360 in and pray. What do you think I should do?
I love my 360, butI dont think itll matter, it willstill break down a lot. The 360 console itself is a piece of crap, period.hillelslovak
Well, I actually already have a 360, got it in June the summer after it launched, and it's generally worked very well, only had it seize up on me one time, maybe a year ago. However, I think it might be on it's last leg. The dvd drive has gotten progressive louder and the whole system has a habit of making sounds you wouldn't want to associate with an electronics device. I'd rather just pick up a new elite than spend 4-6 weeks getting my old guy replaced.
My main concerns here are RROD and noise. Can anyone with an elite here comment on this?
