Ok, well now we are slighty back on topic. I do have "visions of parks being bulldozed and developed into subdivisions" because I have seen it done where I live. That is how I feel... I am sorry. I am just sickened that I will never be able to share my childhood parks with my children. I wasted alot of my childhood playing video games and it hurts to see others follow in my footsteps. Vice, it is a growing problem, and why should we wait till it becomes serious. why try to reverse something when you could have prevented it in the first place.

I can see by the language you like to employ in your posts that you are most likely an undergraduate arts student, possibly studying philosophy, and as such you have a far superior view of society's flaws and pitfalls. You should be sorry, what have you contributed? I atleast gave an opinion. I am an artist and do have a far superior view of society.

Point for Ashghan! Of course there are more than 6 hours in a day. Approx 12 of them are daylight. Out of those 12 around 6-8 are given for work/school leaving only a few hours for daytime recreation. Saying he spends three hours outside every day means hes doing more than most people on this forum.
