Am i the only one that this happens to. It seems like every two online matches or so the game freezes up or I get a connection interupted or the game migrates my host. this never happens in any other online game so its not my connection. Maybe its the peak hours that game is going through. there is nothing worse that completing a challenge and then having the game freeze up and having to hard reset my system and losing all that progress!

dude have you ever played a pc shooter? People just spray bullets and strafe left and right, bunnyhop rocketjump all these stupid moves. have you watched a Cs:S match on youtube anything to avoid being shot. So unlike in real life.

Is it just me or are PC shooters getting ridiculous in the online arena. I am comparing a shooter on a console to a pc shooter. People on the pc bunny hop, cheat, ad tons of ricidulous soundbytes that you have to download to join the game. On a console it is simple and people tend to stand still more (ala Black Ops). Dont get me wrong I grew up on PC but have you played counter strike lately? It is getting so stupid on PC. Not to mention if your not playing on steam you can usually join a pc server with an older game version. It will not let you do that on PS3, another reason a console is more organized and not so convoluted. Back to my main point its alot harder to be a beginner in a PC shooter then it is in a console. Plus consoles have matchmaking even though it usually does not pair you with someone of your similar playing level.

becuase we are so frickin lucky to have such a great game that favors realism over arcade style but really pc driving games seem to be more realistic. then again 360 has forza which is better that gt 5

i started to play a classic Soldier of fortune 2 lastnight and i can not find a server that well let me play without first downloading some wav files or something from so guys server. and when i did finally get into a game i think i was playing with bots but i was unsure because no one was chatting. with my ps3 i just go to multiplayer and its puts me into a game and makes sure im using the correct version. with pc it will let you join the game nomatter what version your using and you could possibly have a unfair advantage becuase your system is more up to date. I perfer dedicated servers personally. what do you people think?

yeah im saying its bull crap where is the originality they are just rehashing ideas thats why side-scrolling games were the best because they were not trying to create a cinamatic feel just trying to have fun with the gameplay we dont need great graphics and great story look at serious sam we just need good controls and fun gameplay

metal gear solid - escape from new york/ la

grand theft auto vice city - scarface obvious

medal of honor - saving private ryan

and the list goes on. I think the developers are being unoriginal they are just finding suscessful movies and re selling them to us. we could posibaly of had just as much enjoyment from rewatching the movie. I dont want to hear anyone say well games hae been made into movies as well because most of those movies sucked. what do you guys think

i used to be a avid pc gamer but now switched to consoles mainly because of the cost

but im trying to get back in to pc but playing counter strike for example is way more complicated then any console shooter becuase picking a game is done for you usually with a matchmaking service, browsing the CS source servers its a mess you have to deal with latency set rate and ping you proably have to download some user created content when you just wanted to play the original game its no fun any more and i dont feel like learning all that just to get into a game. I just want to jump in and play now and i dont want to think about my frame rate and my cls_rate and so forth
