You're back :)

Totally missed this comment. lol. Yep, from time to time. Glad to see that your doing well.

On Topic: I'm sticking with 9/10. Though, I'm going by what we've seen so far.

...I'd buy it.

I mean, it's gonna flop big time, but hey, at least it looks cool. If it can play indie games and lower spec AAA games, like maybe PS3/360 games, I would gladly get this.

Always happy to see more gaming hardware. (Though, I'll admit, it's a tad bit unneeded)

Super excited

Honestly, this is the first MH game I have ever been excited for. I'ts like the new God of War, or Mario Odyssey. It's so different from the others, (While not straying too far from it's roots),..that makes it so interesting and exciting.

Did not see a thread on this news. Thought I'd post it to spread the word.

Gamespot article:

https://www.gamespot.com/articles/monster-hunter-world-release-date-announced/1100-6453426/

Capcom has finally revealed Monster Hunter: World's PS4 and Xbox Onerelease date. The open-world game will launch worldwide on January 26, 2018. "A PC release will follow at a later date," Capcom has said in a press release. The company announced the news at Sony's Tokyo Game Show conference, alongside a new trailer and a collector's edition that includes a special art box, a copy of the game's soundtrack, and a physical action figure of a new monster called Nergigante.

In addition, Capcom and Sony revealed a special Liolaeus Edition PS4 Pro, decorated with some gorgeous Monster Hunter: World art. That PS4 model launches in Japan on December 7, though it has not yet been confirmed for a worldwide release.

Those that preorder Monster Hunter: World digitally or at select retailers will receive "special pre-order bonuses, including the Origin Set Armor and the Fair Wind Charm talisman." These offer "improved starting defense and offense stat boosts for the hunter as well as a useful gathering skill." All PSN preorders will include a custom PS4 theme.

Capcom has said "the Origin Set armor and Fair Wind Charm talisman may be made available through alternative means at a later date."

If it's a game like Hellblade or Lords of Shadow, which I may not replay often and would prefer better visuals for, then Ps4/Xbox One. (Or PC, when I get one)

IMO, I would say, generally, unless it's a bad port, Switch stomps PS4/Xbox One multiplats no diff. Doom on the Switch for the win!

Yay. Yay. Yay. Absolutely yay

Honestly, they should just port OOT, MM, along with WWHD, TPHD and create Skyward Sword HD. Then, along with Breath of the wild, we'd have all the 3D Zelda games (physically) all on ONE system, which we play anywhere.

The idea of that is freaking awesome.

Now that the dust has settled on Breath of the Wild, how does rank among Zelda games? (3D ones mostly)

Here is my ranking, from best to weakest.

1. Ocarina of Time.

2. Breath of the Wild.

3. Wind Waker.

4. Majora's Mask.

5. Twilight Princess.

6. Skyward Sword.

To me personally, EVERY Zelda game is a 10/10, in terms of enjoyment. That's why it is my favorite series.

Breath of the Wild is a 10/10 game, but as a Zelda game, it's more like a 9.

I just can't say it's better than Ocarina of Time. Reason being, it's main dungeons.

OOT has the best and most memorable dungeons in the series, IMO. One of the reasons why, is because of how different and distinct each dungeon is from one another.

BOTW's 4 main dungeons feel too copy paste. Not enough variety. No mini bosses, and no special items. (Which is excusable for not being in the dungeons, but they are still absent from the game.) (Not talking about the Shekah Slate)

Other than the shrines, I feel like BOTW's overworld, amazing as it is, has no purpose. it's vast just because it is. The concept of the 4 Beasts could of bee done in a, lager than average, Zelda game. I get what they were trying to do, but without dungeon variety, it feels....Underwhelming. The main campaign, that is.

I think BOTW would of been perfect if it took it's overworld, and blended it with OOT's quality of dungeons, and Link between world's approach to dungeons. (Hookshot, hammer, boomarang, etc, all available to use from the start)

However, if you one of those who do not care about the dungeons, I can see why some say that this is the best game ever.

Anyway, Just my two centz. I just to see what everyone else thinks.
