 Well Im jumping on the bandwagon and doing some favorites lists. DS will be the first but I plan on doing PSP and possibly some others. Only going to talk a bit about them because Im lazy :P  Oh and also once I get to the end of the list, Ill post the future DS games Im looking forward to the most.
10. Luminous Arc – An srpg from Atlus about a corrupt religion bent on resurrecting their "god" and the witches who are trying to stop it. The main characters in the game are Alph and Lucia. Although there are plenty of other characters, the story revolves around these two. The dialog is cheesy but I loved it. Plenty of LOL moments. There were definitely some slow points to the game but considering my lack of love for srpgs, I was surprised that I liked it so much. The gameplay is a bit easier than other srpgs which probably worked in its favor for me. One major flaw was the touch screen controls which were basically useless. It was faster, easier, and more accurate to just use the buttons.
9. Pokemon Diamond – Ive been playing Pokemon since Red and Blue so Im fairly experienced with the series. This time you are in the Sinnoh region with tons of new pokemon to catch. The best part about this game is the ability to get all of the pokemon from every region. I thought the story was one of the better ones. There was a reason to keep playing other than just beating the gyms and the Elite Four. I though Team Galactic had a better role as the villains than earlier games with Team Rocket. Overall, this was one of my favorites in the series. However, they really need to overhaul the series. After this game I don't see how they can get any better without making serious changes, like a deeper story, 3D battles, ect.
8. Final Fantasy III – An old FF game that never came to the states if I remember correctly. I felt a sense of accomplishment in beating this game  The story and characters were lacking compared to the more current FF games but I figured it would be due to being one of the earlier games. I loved the job system. It is a very solid RPG.
7. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass – It had been a long time since I had played a Zelda game before picking this up. PH is supposedly a sequel to Wind Waker but I never played that game and I didn't have a problem following the story. This was a game I hadn't planned on getting but very glad I did. Overall it was way better than I expected, lots of dungeons to explore, puzzles to solve and bosses to beat. It brought back a lot of memories and I enjoyed the fluid touch screen controls.#4, 5 and 6 in my next blog! Also my Noctis drawing will be finished by then :D
