Well its that time of year again when the Easter Bunny comes out to play. This year i'm thinking of doing things differently, after watching TV the other week and learning that alot of children are used as slave labour harvesting the cocoa crop with machetes bigger than they are. I feel that I cannot morally buy any of my nephews and nieces a choclate egg. I dont want to give them any money as they will spend it on choclate and I feel they are to young to be exposed to the horrors of the world. So what to do? I'm feeling introducing them to gaming, but what would be a good game to show an 7 year old?

Dreams
by pimpjump on Comments
Well recently i've been having strange dreams, one of the most memorable was kind of like a game crossed with a film. Now maybe this is telling me that I am spending for to much time playing video games or watching movies, but who knows?. Now I have always had strange dreams since I was kid, one was a recurring nightmare where there was a Dinosaur in my front room. It wasn't untill i was a little bit older I was able to change my dreams outcome to solve nightmares. Another dream which I always seem to remember was where it starts of in the middle of a quiet forest and focuses on a lake. After a momenta native American (Sioux Nation I think) slowly raises out of the water and fires a musket. It then shifts forward to the 60's and the American government are stealing babies from the reservations. Now if any one can tell me why a 13yr old is having dreams like this I will be impressed.
Solomon Kane

Hi all, im back again, well this weekend I went and watched Solomon Kane at the cinema and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised, especially with the West country accent of the hero. Being from Bristol I feel that the west country tends to get overlooked in films, we either become Farmers ala Hot Fuzz or thickos thanks to the likes of Little Britain... Well done to Solomon Kane bringing a serious action flick hero to the West country.
Another year older

Well it was my birthday the other day and I have to admit it was quite possibly the best one for a few years. Spent the morning having a lovely breakfast down the local cafe. While I was there I started planning my trip to Rome with my partner, so a real positive start. In the afternoon I spent it at the gym then the evening playing Mass Effect on the Xbox while my baby made my birthday tea. All in all a wonderful day :)
Mafia type movies

Recently i've been rediscovering the joys of the Gangster flick (as oppssed to the modern day Gangsta). Have any of you noticed how films like the Godfather seem to age like a fine bottle of wine, is it a case of me getting older and just palin understanding them more. I even enjoyed watching The Untouchables again. Eventhe factit stars Kevin Costner couldn't stop the enjoyment..
