Yes your right you proved your point.
 Let me guess, VGchartz is within 10%:lol:Only for historical numbers. For weekly numbers, they're off by as much as 60%.
They have been off by much more than that before. I remember that they had a game listead as selling 750k in it's first week and by the time NPD was released they had it well over a million. NPD had it at 350k for the month and VGchartz all of a suddent took off 3/4 of the sales of their numbers.[QUOTE="DerekLoffin"][QUOTE="AvIdGaMeR444"]Most people about Vgchartz seem to say..."But, but, but teh Vgchartz is so inaccurate all the time and they heavily favor the Wii and always overestimate sales!"

This isn't about the them occasionally getting it right, it's about the fact that it's only occassionally. That pretty much decimates their credibility.
The fact of the matter is you can go to Vgchartz.com and read what the total console sales are and those numbers are going to be VERY close.
Only the total number are close because anyone can get those. Every 3 months the 3 companies release there total sales numbers. So, now take the 20M that Nintendo just announced and for the next 3 months add the media creat numbers to that number each week, than add the NPD numbers to it each month. Than make up a number somewhere in between the Japan numbers and NPD numbers and add it for Europe. In 3 months Nintendo will release more official numbers and see the magic of being "close" to the real numbers.[QUOTE="pins_basic"] I can't believe how ignorant some people are:lol: VGchartz:lol:Firelore29

 Let me guess, VGchartz is within 10%[QUOTE="Jandurin"]How many 360s sold in Europe in December?
I mean, if you want to compare across regions...
lol, 360 sold 80000% more in US than PS3 did in Japan lol.

The only figures we have for that are from VgChartz so there probably around 100-150% inacurate. But according to them over the holidays the ps3 was around 130,000 units ahead per week.
